It had been ages since Lex had actually been outside the castle grounds on her own free will. She had occationally dropped by a store in Diagon Alley in order to pick up more supplies for her class, but today, she was taking a mental health day.
She had left her papers ungraded on her desk in her office and left a note on her door that read "gone fishing", which she figured would give some of the students and professors a laugh.
Too many things had been stressing her out as of late, the ironic thing was little of it had to do with being a teacher. She was constantly having to have conversations with her sister-in-law about the house, how Griffen was going as well as worrying about Adrian, who was still keeping touch from long distance in America. That along with her beloved fox, Sky, who was getting old and moving slower as of late was just the cherry on top of it all.
She pushed open the door to Hog's Head, which was relatively empty. She was a regular here before her life became so busy, but it was nice to come back. The place was a bit dodgy, but it didn't bother her too much.
She went to the bar and bought a mug of butterbeer and found a table in the corner where she was able to watch those who were coming and going from the tavern. If someone did want to sit and have a chat she wouldn't be opposed, but she was quiet content being by herself.
