Physical Description: Kalia is around 5'6" tall with a slim build and long, straight black hair. She has fair skin that tans to a light brown during summer. She has green eyes. She usually wears her hair down, though sometimes puts it into a ponytail.
Inside of Hogwarts she wears her house coloured robes, and on Hogsmeade trips she prefers to wear robes of a more casual style, and free of any associative colours. This usually boils down to plain black robes. At home, she wears more casual muggle-wear: light blue, denom jeans or black trousers with a various short-sleeved tops.

Personality
Personality: Kalia strongly believes in herself - she realises her strengths in areas she has them, but at the same time knows her limits and places where she has difficulties. She always strives to better herself. Although she generally has a open mind to other peoples opinions, beliefs and ways - she can often feel that she is right and can be quite opinionated. She may say things without considering others' feelings, but generally she won't hurt or upset soemone on purpose. She has a habit of speaking her mind before giving proper thought to her company at the time. Kalia is a friendly person who puts alot of value in friendship.
Relationships and Social Skills: Among friends, Kalia is more 'herself' than with anyone else. She tends to open up more to her friends. She doesn't have a bad relationship with her parents, but she feels much more at ease when talking to her friends. Kalia is very easy going and usually quite random. With her family she tends to hold back her opinions more often and will just nod along with most things.
Weaknesses: Away from her relatives, Kalia is often opinionated. Although this can be percieved as a strength in some situations, Kalia has a habit of speaking her mind and not thinking about how it might upset others. Her pride and opinions can often get in the way of apologising if she feels she may be right, on any level. Kalia is quick to trust, and is always willing to help people where she can. However, some people notice this of Kalia and are just as quick to take advantage of it.
Strengths: Kalia's opinionated personality can be taken as strength and means that she won't be pushed around, or forced into situations that she is not happy or comfortable with. If she knows she is wrong, without a doubt, she will swallow her pride and apologise. Her values in friendship means that she is very loyal and will help her friends out wherever she can.

Past, Present, and Future
History: Kalia's childhood was 'normal' in the most part. Living in a muggle area, she started a muggle school before attending Hogwarts. Like most students of muggle-schools, Kalia was picked on by someone. Mostly, it was small things such as being shorter than most of the other students - muggles are quite odd. In some occasions, the bully would pick on her parents - as they were known for being slightly 'eccentric' (although perfectly normal by wizard standards). On rare occasions, as Kalia was getting older, people who annoyed her particularly badly would find themselves having strange experiences; which ranged from a boy suddenly falling backwards, grazing both his elbows when she was 9 and a girls' hair sponatenously falling out near the end of Kalia's last year in muggle school, and her eleventh birthday. Her parents did their best to hide the wizarding heritage from Kalia as she grew up, so she was completely unaware of why these things happened, why her parents were known to be 'eccentric' and why they often worked away for days at a time while she was babysitted by a local friend of theirs. This, of course, meant Kalia had no magical friends until her first term at Hogwarts. Shocked by the sudden revelation that Kalia wasa young witch, Kalia was often shy amongst the people she met during the first term of Hogwarts. Some of them had picked up slight magical knowledge, jsut from observation of their parents. Kalia had none of this 'experience' and felt out of place. However, she soon learned about Muggle-Borns and Squibs and started to gain confidence around her classmates. During her time at Hogwarts Kalia blossomed in Potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts. However, her Charms abilities are mediocre and her Transfiguration skills leave alot to be desired.
Here and Now: Kalia is working on getting her Charms up to a better standard and is struggling with Transfiguration but trying her best to get a reasonable achievment in it. Now that Kalia knows what she is, and why her parents were percieved as 'eccentric', she feels much more secure walking around the muggle city. She sometimes thinks back to the 'accidents' during her last two years at her muggle school, and they still amuse her. Kalia enjoys writing in her journal at the end of every day, and makes aprticularly long entires if it has been an exciting day.
Long-term Outlook: Kalia hopes to follow in her parents fotosteps to the Ministry of Magic, however her aim is to work in the Department of Magical Law Enforcment, hopefully as an Auror. She needs to work greatly on her Transfiguration skills before standing a real chance though. Aware of her keen interest in writing, Kalia has considered writing for journals or papers such as the Daily Profit if she fails to becoem an auror - a very real possibility in Kalia's mind.

RP Sample: Kalia left the classroom with a long, exhausted sigh. She had just finished Transfiguration for the day and was blessed with a free period before lunch. She was trying her best to get anything except a Troll in the class. She had only just scraped her way into NEWT level, by studying rather religiously for her OWL Grade Exam. Her chances this year, however, were looking rather bleak. She had just split her goblet from one normal sized into two half-sized goblets - not an all together useless spell, but far from the task they had been assigned.
She walked quietly down the staircase to the ground floor, repeating the incantation in her mind and visualising the correct wand movements. They were very intricate, it infuriated her, not being able to get the movements right. She burst out the main doors into the bright, warm Hogwarts grounds. She found a quiet, empty space on the grass with a view of the lake and sat down. She took in the view before laying flat on her back with another long sigh, letting the late-summer sun beat down on her face.
