Past, Present, and Future

History: Being born in Australia on October 31st, Stanley remembers little of his childhood there. Having faint memories of his grandparents in Greece, Stan was brought up as an only child. Most of his life he lived in Germany, only to move to United States when he was 13. Before transferring to Hogwarts for his last 2 years, he was attending Starrywood, a school for Witchcraft and Wizardry in America, and Bracebridge in Germany.
Throughout his years in Starrywood, he was famous for his knowledge of muggle sports. But besides that, he was quite a decent Quidditch player and was accepted to the school’s team in his second year right after a transfer from Bracebridge, first as a keeper and then moving to a beater position. Knowing that academics are not his strongest card, Stan decided to focus on sports instead. When he was still young, he always dreamt of becoming a famous Quidditch player.
Just before transferring to Hogwarts, Stanley realized that he was quite good at practical subjects such as Charms, Transfigurations and Potions. Taking a bit more time to study, he found Transfigurations quite appealing, and now he’s thinking of changing his goal.
Parents never played a key role in Stanley’s life. His mother was away most of the time on business, even when they were back in Germany. Stan’s father was quite a busy man himself, leaving their son with a lot of free time and little supervision. Learning to care for himself since an early age, Stan acquired some useful skills of survival. Without his parent’s guidance, he was tricked by people on several occasions. That would explain why he chooses those close to him so carefully.
And now that he finally had a chance to get away from his parents, who were trying to fix their relationship after letting their son drift so far away, Stan can start up on yet another year of studies, this time at Hogwarts.
Here and Now: After successfully transferring to Hogwarts, Stan set himself several goals. First is to join Quidditch team, second is to find reliable friends and third is to try and improve in non-practical subjects. Even thought he was never close to his parents, he still maintains contact for practical purposes. He is looking forward to life without their intrusion.
Long-term Outlook: First planning on becoming a professional Quidditch Player, Stanley changed his mind in his 5th year or schooling. Suddenly Transfigurations appealed to him more than ever. Looking at a career in that area, he still wants to maintain his sports skills.

-----

Special Request: Good memory
Reason: Stan spends most of his time playing sports or Quidditch, which leaves him with little time to do homework or study. Nevertheless, his grades are passing, and in addition he got quite good at Charms, Potions and Transfigurations. He remembers a lot of things just by reading them once, which allows him to spend less time studying for some subjects that requires a lot of reading.

The night was slowly falling on the walls of an old castle. The sunrays were playing on the tips of towers of Hogwarts before disappearing behind the horizon and illuminating the sky a slight shade of peach. Shadows started to stir in the corners and it looked like it will rain. A hooded person walked through the gates of the school, a suitcase floating by the side. Making it up the steps in a lazy manner, the suitcase followed its master through the small gap in between the heavy wooden doors, which locked itself right after.

Once inside, the hood was thrown back to reveal a young male, no older than 16. His hair was slightly damp from all the humidity in the air, but his eyes were sharp, studying the interior of the castle. A gloved hand reached into the pocket of the robe to pull out a neatly folded piece of paper. Scanning over the sheet, Stanley’s eyes looked at the stairway to his left. According to instructions he got in his letter, he was supposed to find an office of the Headmistress and get sorted there, since he was transferring into the 6th year. Without losing any more time, his feet carried him up the staircase and to his left, his baggage neatly floating after him.

--------------DO NOT EDIT BELOW THIS LINE---------------

My, you were a bit tough. I saw a lot of Gryffindor in you, but I think I saw ever so slightly more Ravenclaw. You're terribly practical and seem to think much more with your head than your heart, causing you to seem cold or fierce at times. Congratulations, Stanley!
