When you want to put in your signaure, you have to put in the pictures URL. What the heck is that all About? In other words, what is a URL?

A URL is an internet address. For instance, the URL of this thread is http://invisionfree.com/forums/HarryPotter...?showtopic=3371, which should appear in the "Address" bar of your browser.

Okay, but what if you want to imrove the picture before making it your signature? I want to put writing in mine, but i dont know how to do it. Can you help?

a URL is a Uniform Resource Locator. Not the answer you were looking for, though, is it. It's where the picture is on the internet. If you want to fix a picture up for the internet, when you save the changes, it'll be on your computer, not the internet, and you'll have to upload, or give it, to the internet, and it'll be assigned a URL at that point.

Put the words into the picture and then save it, making sure it's in a proper format. Then upload it to an image host, such as Photobucket, and then you can get it in. Sorry, you'll have to get better and clearer instruction from someone else, because I'm leaving tomorrow evening, and don't want to start giving you more specific instructions, and then disappear, leaving you (even more) confused.

Okay then. What browser type do you use? And what is your imaging program, the image you are planning to use for your signture, and is it saved directly on your computer or not? (I should think so.)

By browser, you mean things like yahoo and MSN and stuff like that? If so than I have people pc. And no, it is not save to my computor, but I know where to find it. I was actually thinking about saving it to a disk and using photoshop on another computor to make it look cool.

No, I meant Internet Explorer, or Netscape. MSN and Yahoo are E-Mail Site thingys that I cannot remember the proper term of due to three sets of loud music clashing horribly in my ears and three other windows.

Here, I'll do it for you. Just give me the URL (web address) of the picture, and tell me what you want in it, any themes, blah blah. Keep it simple so it can be done tinight.

Nah, I got it. Took all of twenty minutes. But then my sister blew the fuse which blew out the internet connection so we had to wait some time for my dad to come home and fix the darn thing. Hopefully my sister has learned to TURN OFF SOME LIGHTS before plugging in the vacuum...
