Family Information: Her father's name is Lopoldus Vogeldorf and he works in the German Ministry of Magic, her mother's name is Ariane Vogeldorf, she was originally an Essengraf, another prominent wizarding family where Sofie is from. She is the youngest of four children, she's got two brothers and a sister. Lopoldus, her eldest brother is 23 years old, her brother Wulfric is 20 years old and her sister Anna is 17 years old. Both her brothers attended the German school for magic and her sister is currently studying there as well. Sofie, however had read about Hogwarts with great enthusiasm and wanted to go there. So after three years at Stabzauber, her parents agreed to let her attend Hogwarts, but only because her Aunt Engelyn moved to London.

Physical Description: Sofie has very fair skin and blonde hair with blue eyes. Her cheeks are always flushed, making it look as if she is always blushing, but it just aids her in hiding real blushing. Her nose is a little broad, kind of like a button nose, well that's how she describes it to make it cuter, as her brothers were always teasing her about it. No matter the shape of her nose, it is still the perfect fit for her small oval shaped glasses. She likes to wear her hair up in a messy bun most of the time with a few tendrels and curls falling around her somewhat round, but lovely face. Despite the state of her hair she is always wearing spotless robes that look as if they have just been pressed. She is of average height for a girl her age standing 5'3" and she weighs a little over 105lbs.

Personality

Personality: Sofie is not the shy type at all, she loves talking to people and is very outgoing. She's not afraid of what people think of her and can sometimes be a little rude, as she does not really think twice before speaking, no matter how many times her family insists she does. When she is angered, it's not a rage, it's a soft angry, where you can't even tell if she's angry or not. Despite her tendencies to be rude, she can also be a very loving and tender person, this she learned from her cousin Heidi who is just five months older than her. In addition to those aspects of her personality she is very clever and comes up with witty jokes, earning herself the title of a "funny person". Sofie loves to read and is often found in the library just taking in book after book, and when she can get away with it, humming lightly to herself as she has a passion for singing as well. One thing Sofie can not stand, is ignorance, she'd rather people ask questions about things they do not know before saying anything, instead of just blabbing about what they do not know. She has a strong like for the subject of Transfiguration as well as Ancient Runes, and despises Divination for it's sheer uncertainty, she prefer things that are solid facts rather than silly guesses. However she does have respect for true seers, because they are few and far between.
Relationships and Social Skills: Sofie's best friend and cousin is Heidi Vogeldorf. Heidi was born five months before Sofie was to turn one. When Heidi and Sofie are together, it's as if they were one person. They enjoy the same things, even though Heidi is a little more into potions than Sofie. Another aspect of Heidi that Sofie really enjoys learning is the motherly attitude that Sofie can not really learn in her own home. Heidi is the eldest of four while Sofie is the youngest. Sofie and Heidi are always playing with Heidi's younger siblings, her brother Gerhardt (five years their younger), her sister Hildegard (seven years their younger) and her brother Ludolf (ten years their younger). However the girls really enjoy time with Ludolf, Sofie has developed a special bond with her young cousin and Ludo (as Sofie calls him) sees her as more his sister than his cousin. Sofie also has many other friends, her best friend outside of her family is Lorelei, who grew up in the house next to hers. Lorelei and Sofie are found talking about who the cutest wizards are, and practicing the transfiguration. When Sofie comes across people she doesn't know she doesn't skip a beat, she often walks right up introduces herself and starts a conversation as if she'd known the person all her life. It is very rare that Sofie has enimies but there are a few that dislike her for no apparent reason at all. Sofie attempts to ignore these people, but when they are near, she spares their feelings none.
Weaknesses: Sofie, alas, does have weaknesses. She HATES being wrong, it just drives her crazy, but as she is normally correct in most cases where it counts it doesn't matter much. Also she's not physically that strong either, although with a wand in her hand she's emmensly strong. Her weakest subjects in school are Astronomy and Divination. Care of Magical Creatures is also not her best subject for most animals take a long time to warm up to her. Her own cat took a while to warm up to her.
Strengths: Sofie is skilled in the art of Transfiuragtion and due to her first three years of attending Stabzauber where they stress nonverbal spells. She also is normally at ease around people, and finds talking to people relaxing. She has a great personality that allows her to make many friends.

Past, Present, and Future

History: Sofie was born on August 15th 1991, the last child of Lopoldus Wulfric Vogeldorf and his wife Ariane Isengraf Vogeldorf. She grew up with her parents, two brothers and sister in Olbrecht Germany, a small wizarding town right outside Heidelberg Germany. Sofie lived right next door (and still does) to her two best friends in the world, her cousin Heidi Vogeldorf and her friend Lorelei Dorfried, (she just happened to be her Aunt Engelyn's niece, as she was the Daughter of her unlce Rumpult's brother Manfred). These three were inseparable, except when Heidi was away during the day in Muggle school, her parent's wanted her to learn english, in return Heidi had taught Sofie english as well. The summer Sofie was to turn eleven three owls came to the girls as they were discussing a simple potion Heidi thought it would be fun to make. Two were from Stabzauber Schule fur Hexerei und Zauberei (Stabzauber School of Witchcraft and Wizardry), one for Lorelei and one for Sofie and one from Hogwarts (Heidi had just turned ten and was not old enough to go to wizarding school yet). It was for Sofie! Her cousin Heidi had told her about that school and the girls decided that they would rather go to Hogwarts rather than Stabzauber. However Sofie attended Stabzauber for her first three years and only after their Aunt Engelyn moved to London was Sofie allowed to attend Hogwarts. At Stabzauber, non verbal magic was strongly taught so Sofie has some skill in this area, but only when she's really concentrating hard. It doesn't come as a second nature to her (yet) and sometimes doesn't even work.

Here and Now: While at Hogwarts Sofie has struggled to be top of her class, sometimes she finds it difficult and in other cases it's as easy as breathing. She is still struggling to make friends as some people are a little standoffish. Like everybody else Sofie is going through trying to grow up into a woman, rather than being the little girl her Father still wants her to be (Her sister Anna when through it too). Sofie, also is struggling with Divination, although she did not have to take it, Heidi suggested the they both should take it to decide if the REALLY didn't have anything in their family, as Heidi's brother Gerhardt had shown some signs of being a seer.

Longterm Outlook: Sofie really would love to succeed in the Ministry of Magic in Germany, she'd love to achieve such status as the first woman Minister, even though she highly doubts that would happen. However she would settle herself into a highly prestigous title of Foreign Affiars Diplomat to Ministries throughout Europe.

Special Request: Animagus form of the Raven
Reason: Sofie has been interested in becomming an Aniamgus since she was little. When she was eleven she decided that she would start trying, as her grandmother was an animagus. When her grandmother died the next year Sofie became even more determined to become and animagus as she was very close with her grandmother. Also, Sofie is skilled beyond her years in the art of Transfiguration.
