(Mother)Countess Margaret Anné Ashford Belaqua~ Deceased. Aiera closely resembles her mother in appearance and spirit. This was and still is the main cause of conflict in the Belaqua Household. They are like best friends and seem to have a special connection. Her father however knew about Aiera’s devotion to her and often used that to his advantage. She died due to a mysterious illness supposedly, almost a year ago now, but Aiera knows almost without a doubt that her father killed her. Aiera closely resembles her mother in appearance and spirit. This was the main cause of conflict in the Belaqua Household.
(Father)Count Asrial Rosemount Belaqua~ Works for the MoM, senior member in the Department of International Cooperation. Head of the Belaqua household he will do anything to keep his family in line. He does not like those who rebel against his authority, namely Aiera. And also the fact that Aiera was the last child that Margaret was able to have and another girl, he tends to hold that against Aiera as well.
(Sister)Lady Lyra Rosetta Anné Belaqua Creyton~ Works as a secretary for one of her fathers associates. Like her father in appearance and personality, Lyra is the Golden Girl to her father. But even though Asrial likes his older daughter more, the fact that Lyra was simply married off to some high and fancy to do up and comer in the ministry, has no significant other or meaningful job, Aiera feels vastly superior to her elder sister.
(Husband) Aaron Luanran~ Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor at Hogwarts. They live in a comfortable sized house in Hogsmead and enjoy taking spur of the moment trips anywhere, anytime.

~*~Appearance~*~
About 5'4" she is not very tall, but her presence can be quite commanding. With short brown hair that falls about her shoulders, her eyes are usually a grayish color but they can be blue, green, grey or anywhere in between depending on what she is wearing or even how she is feeling. They seem to betray a hidden secret, but what the secret is, not many really know. They only know that there is one.
She has the build of a gymnast, and is fairly athletic as she played seeker on the Quidditch team back in her Hogwarts days. She is usually dresses in burgundy, black, grey or midnight blue but she has also been known to wear emerald green and usually wears more jewel toned colors. Never wears gold jewelry, only silver. Has a love for lace....*coughcough* and usually is dresses cute-casual even though she is nearing thirty (Which she is dreading).
She will always be seen wearing a silver chain necklace with a silver fox dangling from it, and her silver band on her right thumb, and a white gold and black sapphire ring on her right ring finger. On her left hand is a silver ring with a lion’s head with wings behind it, a blood red stone is set in the jaws of the lion, Aarons ring.
There are old scars up and down her arms that give clues to her past. Had she been sick? Needed lots of shots? Highly unlikely...

~*~Personality~*~
Caring, kind, happy-go-lucky, this is the basic personality of Aiera, the personality most people see. But because she is fairly young and is taking on the responsibilities of Astronomy Professor and the Hufflepuff HoH she can get a little stressed out at times. She usually enjoys taking off somewhere, perhaps to the lake or flying around the grounds of the school, just to get some air to clear her mind. She still has her love of Shakespeare though and still quotes from her beloved plays whenever the occasion seems right to her.
As a professor, she tries to be understanding in all cases and tries to never be too quick to judge, knowing that it could potentially hurt someone later down the road. A young teacher to the scenes, she always tries to make sure her class not only understands what she is teaching them, but makes sure that they have fun in the process.
However, there is a darker side to her. Not seen to often by others, her childhood with her father has affected her, however slightly. She is not fond of those with Muggle blood, though she is always careful to keep her tone neutral when talking to them or about them. And though she enjoys Muggle things, she believes the people of the two worlds should only interact when it comes to business, nothing else. She holds those of a pure lineage in higher esteem than the others, and will help those students to better themselves so they can rise above the half-bloods and Muggle borns. This is a bad trait she unfortunately inherited from her father.
The past year and a half or so have been fairly hard on her and it shows. Her nerves unfortunately weren’t as strong as they once were and so she's been starting to rely on various other methods.
Relationships and Social Skills: She's a fairly out going and easy to get along with. Sometimes there may seem a cold air around her, but well, that's her own problem. Nothing the other people cause.
Weaknesses: She has a burning hatred for her Father and what he's done to their family. Every time she thinks about him or his actions she losses control of herself somehow. Whether it be by crying or some physical action. Usually to calm herself she either has to take a potion, or if Aaron is near by she will turn to him.
Strengths: Her strength is in the ones she loves her husband, Virginia, and her students as a whole. She takes strength from being around those she loves.

Past, Present, and Future
~*~History~*~
Her parents were both members of Voldermort's inner circle when he was powerful (A true match made in hell…), and were responsible for many deaths of Aurors, Muggles and those who opposed Voldermort. They some how managed to escape capture from the MoM but are still wary about what could happen in the future.
Growing up she had a normal life in an all-magic family and was expected to go to Hogwarts, just as her sister who graduated few years before her did. She and her sister never really got along and are always trying to out do one another with their different curses, charm jinxes and hexes, this was when Aiera first showed a talent for charms, though her love always remained with the stars and legends, fortune telling and such that her mother taught her when she was little.
After coming to Hogwarts her first year, and being placed into Hufflepuff, her parents were rather disappointed that she was not put into Slytherin, but since nothing could be done, they just moved on. But they never really treated her the same again and her father rarely contacted her at school (Though she and her mother remained close) and she was seldom welcomed at home by her father and sister. She made many a friend her first year, and most of them were Slytherins.
Throughout her Hogwarts career, she had a blast. Roaming about out of bounds and after hours with her friends, there wasn’t a rule they didn’t break and have fun in the process. She exceeded expectations in charms and transfiguration, which only aided their nighttime escapades. She had only one real serious fling back then(Her now husband), but they sort of fell apart around fifth year or so due to her own carelessness and stupidity…
After Hogwarts graduation she really didn't feel like going home, so she decided to take an ‘extended vacation” without her parents’ knowledge. Virginia had to take care of her family, so they promised to meet at Ardnieu where they had both been pre-accepted in one years time. She thought seriously several times about faking her death just to keep them away. However somehow a letter from her mother found her shortly after her eighteenth birthday and asked her to come home.
She would do anything her mother asked for the most part, even brave a visit to her own personal section of hell. When she got there, she was furious to find a suitor that her father had promised her too. He was a man about seven years Aiera’s senior, and a new up-comer in the Ministry, William Van Hedler. Needless to say with her talent and love of hexes and jinxes, he was unrecognizable after a little private ‘getting to know you’ session they had as she stormed out of the house.
She still had a few months before school started and well… Let’s just say she would have put ‘Girls Gone Wild” to shame… Not only did she wish to have fun and experience true life, she wanted to give her father a reason to truly hate her, maybe even disown her if she was lucky.
In college she tried to focus on charms, but her love of divination and astronomy still seemed to take precedence over her required classes odd enough and she graduated Ardnieu University with Majors in Charms and Transfiguration and Minors in Astronomy and Divination. It required some serious buckling down with the serious help of Virginia and her recently re-found love Aaron.
She took up the position of Charms Professor even though her heart was set on Astronomy, figuring her chance would come some day. And even though it was what she wanted, she still enjoyed it emencly. And partially because Aaron, even though his training was to be an Auror, became the DADA Professor. So not only would she not have to worry about him getting killed but also he was always near by. They married a year later, and that was when everything started to fall apart...
After Aiera’s father found out he had the two of them arrested on false charges of practicing unforgivable curses and other outlawed magic’s. And by the time they were released, Aiera had found out her mother had died... However, back at Hogwarts now, she found the Astronomy position was open, and took it at once as a way to keep her mothers spirit alive.

As a professor Aiera knows she has her responsibilities and duties to the school. But after all she is a woman, and there's just something in her life that seems to be missing... She wants a child, but doesn't exactly know how to approach Aaron about the subject.
~*~Long-term Outlook~*~
She wants her students to walk away with a love of the stars and all that other stuff that Professors want for their students, but other than that isn't sure about what she wants really...
