Stepping out of the Leaky Cauldron Cassie made her way into the Muggle world. The world she felt she belonged it. No magic, no expectations of her. She wawsn't special, she wasn't extraordinary. She was just a normal looking school girl who happend to have a slightly funny accent, namely because it was false.
She had pcked up a slight british accent from being over here so long... There was nothing special about to day really, or at least not to her it didn't feel special. As she looked up at the gray overcast sky she sighed with what someone might have called dissapointment, whispering slightly "Happy birthday to me... happy birthday to me..."
Sweet sixteen wasn't so sweet when you had no one to spent it with... No friends... No boyfriend... Your family across the sea... Yeah... Sweet sixteen wasn't all that sweet.sticking her hands in the pocket of her black jeans she sighed. It wasn't too bad out really... at least it wasn't humid.. there was no bright sun to scorch her skin, and she didn't have any obligations.
But there was still something missing... Damon... Her head hung low at the mear thought ofhim. She still loved him really... And that would be just like her to love someone who didn't feel the same way about her... It happened with Aiden didn't it? Well, her final year of Hogwarts was aboutto begin... Maybe something would happen. Maybe someone would need someone else as she did... Someone to turn to, someone to love... That was her birthday wish... A new year... maybe new love...

Zeno had been in Diagon Alley shopping around for some items he needed. He made his usuall trips at night but, today he didn't feel like going to classes nor being in the school at all for that matter. Hopefully none of the professors were in Diagon Alley, he wouldn't want to be caught skipping classes. Making his way through the crowds of people he entered the Leaky Cauldron. Sitting down his school bag, he ordered a a goblet of butterbeer.
He was planning on taking a little break before he headed into London to go see Jeff. He'd finally be telling him about his background and past, most of which Zeno had kept hidden from him. Taking the last gulp of butterbeer, he picked up his bag and headed out of the Leaky Cauldron to the Muggle World. He glanced at his clock to check the time. 5:45 Oh I'm late 10 minutes until the next train comes He hurried out and then quickly ran across the street, he was in such a rush he bumped into quite a few people. He turned around quickly to say sorry and he stopped running.
Catching his breath he said, " Cassie is that you?"

Some person running nearly knocked her head over heals, but luckaly she was able to move quick enough where they couldn't quite knock her over. "Yeah yeah... Just keep going." She muttered in a whisper. "I'm not here don't worry..."
But the persoon turned around. It was none other than Zeno. She smiled slightly as he recognized her. Well, that was a good thing at least. "Yeah it's me Zeno... What? You think I was dead or something." She said with a slight laugh. Maybe she would have been better off if that were the case. But well. It wasn't.
"So what ya all in a hurry for hun?" She said sliding back into her natural southern accent. "There a fire somewhere?"

Zeno noticed that Cassie still had that tone in her voice, like she wasn't all there. She seemed lifeless really, he didn't know why but, he hoped he'd find out. " No, no I didn't think you were dead, I just hadn't seen you in so long. It has been quite awhile since we've spoken. I was heading to the train but, I'm sure I'll catch another one later on. If your up to it would you wanna take a walk and just catch up for old times sake?" He said smiling.
He really wanted to see what was bothering her still. The event that took place awhile back with Aiden, Alex, Cassie and himself was probaly still lingering in her mind. Or something else as bad as happened that he wasn't aware of.

She smiled weakly at his offer. It would be nice to have something that was sort of like a friend... After all... No one ever offered to listen to her before. This would be a nice change of pace. Someone helping her for a change.
"Sure." She said quietly, the weak smile still on her face. "I mean if you're sure you don't need to be anywhere. I mean someone probably needs you more than I do... More important things and all..." She said her voice dropping to an almost mutter.
She bit back at her resentment towards people as a whole. Emma wasn't even talk ing to her these days. Damon had up and left without so much as a goodbye. Her family didn't seem to remember her birthday from the looks of things so far. Maybe it was best for him to go off to wherever he needed to be. Her ventimg might be to much for him.
