Title: Peace and Quiet
Description: Vincent

Hotaru had never sneeked into a place before, and she had expected she needed to in order to get into the Hog's Head. Why on earth did she want to go to the Hog's Head? Her first reason was because looking at the Three Broomsticks, it was just too crowded and noisy. Perhaps her second reason was that if she went in there, she would relive what happened with William.
Regardless, she didn't need some reminder of the past when she was getting over him. She was doing rather well, actually. Hotaru didn't have her school robes on, thank goodness, and she had decided to wear something dark in color. Something too bright would make her stand out like a sore thumb.
So Hotaru, clad in a dark grey skirt with a white shirt and a dark grey coat/vest like thing over it, she walked into the Hog's Head barely noticed. Her hair was down, as usualy, but as she went to sit by the bar, she pulled out a black ribbon and tied her hair in a very lose ponytail, letting the curls fall down her back in waves. She sighed, glad that there weren't many people in there at all, and no students so far.

Vincent stalked into the bar wearing a black t-shirt and a black pair of jeans. He hadn't seen Talynn in awhile and he had wanted to go to the candy store but decided that could wait. At the moment, he was thirsty and the three broomsticks was a bit crowded and he didn't want to be spotted by teachers. See, though it was a weekend the kids from the school were alloud to be there, Vincent wasn't. He hadn't gotten his permission slip yet. Vince had gone through the secret passage Talynn had shown him. He had half expected to see her there.
Vincent took a seat at the bar and ran his fingers across the wood grain.
"Want a butterbeer lad?" The bartender asked. Vince nodded quickly before he went back to his thoughts.
Our first plan didn't work, shouldn't we make another one?
Do you think we should? What could we do? Toby asked him curiously. As if his brother could see him, he shrugged.
Vince nodded his thanks to the barkeeper as he set a butterbeer before him. He took a small sip never realizing who was sitting beside him.

Hotaru sat with her elbows on the bar, her hands on either side of her face. She was staring down at the hardwood, and hadn't noticed when Vincent came in. Perhaps peace and quiet was not something she had truely wanted, or needed. When she had nothing to do, her mind had wandered.
The scene of William kissing Talynn played in Hotaru's mind. Most girls would have been furious, would have hated Talynn and William. But Hotaru didn't, which continued to surprise Hotaru. Hey, if William didn't like her, so be it. It was the fact that he hadn't said anything to Hotaru about it that made her more sad than anything. He had kissed Hotaru. You dont do that to random people.
Hotaru sighed and looked up at the bartender when they asked if she wanted a butterbeer. She shook her head. "Water." She said softly. She was in no mood for it, and butterbeer made her feel hot. For her, it was good for the winter, but not summer.
Hotaru turned, noticing that someone was sitting next to her. "Vincent." She said softly, surprised. "I havent seen you in a while. By the way, how is...erm, the snake? Sneeky I think we named it?" Hotaru actually smiled, though it was a sad one with a hint of sadness to it, it was a real smile.

He jumped as he realized someone was talking to him. Slowly he turned to the girl and there sat Hotaru.
"H-he's fine . . ." Vincent said giving her a small smile. The snake was doing very well and no had come to claim it and he was begining to think no one would. Does that mean he had gotten himself a pet? The things was, would he want to keep it any longer?
"H-how are y-you?" He asked her curiously turning to her. For some reason, Hotaru seemed sad. He wondered if it was some sort of emotions that she was getting from him or the other people in the room.
Vincent took a sip of his butterbeer. He savoured it for a moment.
Where'd you go?
Sorry, I was talking to someone.
Alright, I'll leave you be for the moment.

Hotaru nodded sharply, looking away from Vincent and down at the hard wood of the bar. She pressed her finger to the surface and made tiny, idle circles. "I'm glad the snake is alright. I suppose no one has come to get it. Are you going to keep it as a pet?" She asked curiously, looking up at him, this time not smiling.
"Oh, I'm fine, just...tired." She added at the last moment. "How about you? Oh yes, how is...how is your brother? If you dont mind me asking." She added sheepishly. Some people didn't like to talk about such things, and she figured Vincent might be one of them.
"Could you tell him I said hi?" Hotaru's smile returned, though it looked a little more happy this time.
