Title: Disney?

Joseph Benafante - July 25, 2005 01:57 PM (GMT)
I'm heading to Disney in about a week. It's my fist time going there, I was wondering if any of you have been and know anything I should look for, EX: Rides, Shops etc. Thanks!

Ps. I'm on vacation now. somewhere in Tampa Bay...its so much nicer than R.I

Big rides that make you tense up before getting to a part where being tense will break your ribs or something from the force.

Nah, I'm joking. I always wanted to do those rides... But my parents won't let me, and I'm too short I think.

I dunno, I didn't like it that mauch... It was too hot. But so's New York right now.

Joseph Benafante - July 25, 2005 02:19 PM (GMT)
I love big rides. That stinks that your parents don't let you on rides lol.

New York is great, even if its hot. Hell of alot better then R.I

Dracona N. Illinean - July 25, 2005 02:35 PM (GMT)
Oh, they let me on just about any ride except for the reknowned ones. Things like Nitro. And, like I said, i'm still too short for it to make much of a difference.

Joseph Benafante - July 25, 2005 02:42 PM (GMT)
yeah hieght is very important.

In six flags, I went on the "Superman" thrill ride, now mind you I'm 5'8. Going down the giant drop, my body still lifted...I was too worried and trying to hold my self down, to even enjoy the ''thrill''...plus i was kinda p/o'd about the whole 3 hour wait for some 30 second ride. :boxed:...what a horrible picture afterwards, looked something like this- :fear2:

Well let's see. Try to go on Mission Space. That was a fun ride. And um... well... I get remember anything else right now.

Dracona N. Illinean - July 25, 2005 07:10 PM (GMT)
Mission Space was oky... I didn't like the rides much there.

Arche Rodahl - July 25, 2005 07:12 PM (GMT)
I liked it. I didn't throw up.

There's Splash Mountain... But that's too big of a drop for me.

Breakfast at the Wilderness Lodge was fun... only cause dad really got into it.

Joseph Benafante - July 25, 2005 07:30 PM (GMT)
Yes, I was hoping to go on splash mountain. Ever heard of "The Rainforest Cafe"? Those places are cool, I guess my grandma reserved me a table..i went to one in Niagra Falls, Canada once.

Dracona N. Illinean - July 25, 2005 08:00 PM (GMT)
Oh, I remember that... that was nice... I think...

Audrey Vulpes - July 25, 2005 08:54 PM (GMT)
I just want to advise you to visit space mountain... love it. I did hear that a child died on it (it is a ride in pitch blackness) so who knows what became of it now. I think the boy must of died of fright... he was a bit young.... not sure what age however... (sorry rambling) R.I. I'm over from Massachusetts I was in R.I. for geek camp lol... at Roger William university... (just saying to know if maybe you went...?) Any way, Have fun!

Joseph Benafante - July 25, 2005 11:58 PM (GMT)
I read up on a cool looking ride called Mission:Space...its supposed to be great, but some little boy died on it, I think he also had a heart condition. But I'm deffintly going to go on it. Its like a space simulater.

February Redamsule - July 26, 2005 12:32 AM (GMT)
That ride was AWESOME. Me and my brother went on it like a billion times, my mom and dad couldn't get us to leave, olo. Hope you have fun

Joseph Benafante - July 26, 2005 11:59 AM (GMT)
Thanks February, I'm sure I will

But I'm deffintly going on that ride, i've always wanted to go to space, and this will be the closest.

I'm actually currently in Florida..staying at my grandma's lol...and shes talking about going today cuz its only and hour from her residence. So I might not be on for 3 days :erm:

But thank you everyone for giving me some ideas on what to do.

I been on Mission Space i didnt feel good afterward. I had a parkhopper pass so i went to every park.. I was one happy gal.

Rockin Rollercoaster=VERY fun
Space Mountain=YES

I went on the haunted manison and pirates of the carribean rides.. i just had to. I wouldnt go on the tower of terror though.. the thought of being on a elevator type thing (well kinda makes you think you are) scares me.. since my biggest fear is being stuck in an elevator and dropping really fast.. GAH

I loved epcot though and Magic Kingdom.. but it rained...gah...

Everyone being so happy won me over big time

Joseph Benafante - July 29, 2005 12:25 AM (GMT)
I'm back . Disney was great...

Best ride in my point of view--Space Mountain, Mission Space, Tower of Terror, Splash mountain, Thunder mountain(kinda) and IT;S A SMALL WORLD!!..not really but I'll pretend.

Epcot is cool too. I enjoyed italy the most  . I ate at the resturant that was there. It was good. I also at at Some plaza thing...Rain forest cafe annndCrystal Palace.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Funny story about Its a Small World!

Okay:

I am in Japan. I go to Tokyo Disneyworld. I go on It's A Small World.

Just think of those little people everywhere singing It's a Small World in very fast Japanese.

Hahahahaha!!!!!!!

OMG. Now that is a funny thought. I love Disney. I have been to Disneyland so many times I could walk it in my sleep. After I graduate college I plan to work for them as a set designer either designing the sets on movies, or for rides! YAY! But I think the best rides there are:

Splash Mountian (Hated it as a kid though)
Space Mountain
Big Thunder
Pirates of the Caribbean
Haunted Mansion
Rodger Rabits Cartoon Spin
Matterhorn

Now in Disney's California Adventure (Which I do like better than the original park), I love:

Soarin Over California
Grizzly Mt. River Run
California Screamin
Tower of Terror

But if any one has any questions about either of the parks, feel free to ask... I do know a lot about them, and if I dont know, I know someone who will.
