Family Information: Father was Brent Malfoy and he was an unspeakable in the Ministry of Magic in the Department of Mysteries. He was tall with red hair and blue eyes. Her mother is Maureen Smith, a muggle lawyer. She is shorter with short black hair and bright green eyes. They have been divorced since Lex was four years old.
Lex also has a brother, Gavin who is 10 years older. He is 6’ 3” with shaggy dark brown hair and blue eyes. He works for Gringotts and is married to a pleasant witch named Jillian. She has very short pure black hair with gray eyes. She is medium sized and about 5’ 4”. They have a son named Griffen, who has brown hair and gray eyes. He is six years old.

Physical Description: Lex is tall, about 5' 8" with shoulder length, relatively straight dark red hair. Her skin is very pale and has sparkling green eyes, which almost always hide behind her square, thick-framed glasses. She has a very kind smile and shows off her brilliantly white teeth. She is on the thin side, but looks much healthier than she did in her youth. She had three earrings on her right ear, and two on her left. She also prefers to dress in plain, nicely colored robes, as opposed to the teenage muggle wear she used to. She will dress in muggle clothing from time to time but has a much more grown up look to her.

Personality

Personality: Lex is a rather typical young adult. She has a very serious side but is also much more relaxed than she used to be. She is now more reserved and calm, but can become very energetic is something spurs her to it. She is a wonderful listener and still very friendly, especially to students. She prefers to spend her time wandering the calm grounds of Hogwarts either alone or in the company of a close friend or family member. She loves the rain, fall and winter. A former Quidditch player, she loves watching from the stands and cheering on her Gryffindor students.

Relationships and Social Skills: Lex acts very differently in varied social settings. If she in alone with close friends or family, she will be very open and carefree, quiet a chatterbox as well. However, in a group of unfamiliar people she may close up and keep mostly to herself. She might speak up but will offer little to not personal information on her own. If others start offering up personal information, she will follow suit, but prefers to keep most of her opinions to herself.

Weaknesses: Lex is very bad at letting go of the past. She dwells in it constantly and has a hard time shaking herself out of it. She also often lets her peers walk all over her and push her around. She mostly lack self-confidence when challenged by others.

Strengths: Despite her opinion of herself, Lex is an extremely bright young woman. She is quick to pick up information and has a real flare for teaching. She also has a lot of talent as a beater and is a good Quidditch player all around. She is also exceptional at Transfigurations.

Past, Present, and Future

History: She was born in Caterfield and after two years her mother moved out for the first time. She stayed away and on Lex's Third birthday she moved back, but left on Lex's fourth birthday and never came back. Lex hates her Mum. She has seen her only a few times since her fourth birthday. She preferred to spend her time when she was younger with her Father, brother and grandmother.

She attended Hogwarts, where she made many friends. She was a normally shy child, but Hogwarts brought out the rebel in her. She became very close with a Slytherin girl named Breena Brightheart, the same age as her, as well as two Ravenclaws, Hari Granger and Alaina Tremalking. They were the best of friends and spent almost all of their time together making some sort of mischief around the castle. They always had ways of getting out of trouble though.

During her 7th year, her father was killed while he was out doing work for the Ministry shortly before Lex was to graduate. Lex missed the graduation ceremony to be at the funeral, where Lex stood alone with his brother and his fiancée at the time. Lex didn’t return to Hogwarts to say good-bye to her friends, but simply left, finding more pressing matters at home. She wrote letters often but couldn’t bring herself to pick things back up with her old friends.

After the funeral, Lex chose to take a year off and travel to America and see the world around her. She met many American Wizards and made many friends while she was in America. She stayed there for near a year and then returned back home, and stayed with her brother for two weeks and then left for college. She graduated and headed to teach at Hogwarts after her graduation and since then has had a very interesting life. Two years into college, she caught back up with Breena and they were best friends again.

After graduating from the Wizarding University, Lex was invited to come teach Transfiguration back at Hogwarts and she instantly accepted. She loved teaching at Hogwarts, but something was wrong. Her first year went smoothly but during her second year she started to get bad feelings. One day, while correctly papers she received a letter from Jillian, her sister-in-law telling her that her brother had been killed during an accident in the Gringott’s vaults. Lex, who had lost the thrill of teaching at Hogwarts, requested of the headmistress if she could take a leave of absence in order to straighten out her life.

She headed back to a small flat where Jillian moved a few months after Gavin died. She helped her care for Griffen, and get the house into order. When Jillian’s mother moved in, Lex started to feel her usefulness had run out. She packed her things and headed back to America, feeling she had more searching to do.

Lex spent several months in New York City, working in the Wizarding Underground there, hoping that something would click. She worked at a small bookshop and meet people in the Shooting Star, much like the Leaky Cauldron. She started to become happy again when she met a young wizard named Adrian. They became fast friends and Lex finally knew she had to return to Hogwarts.

Here and Now: Lex has herself much more together than she has in the past. She has withstood the passing of her father and brother with much strength, but often will look back and get stuck there. Adrian helps her with this. Lex is struggling with her long distance relationship, as well as worrying about the future of her nephew and her sister-in-law. She is entirely happy to be back where she is right now and is much more upbeat than she was in the past.

Long-term Outlook: Lex is right now looking to settle down in her life and have some sort of constant in her life. She is also looking to improve her teaching at Hogwarts. Her most important goal is to get married and have children, as well as look out for her sister-in-law. She is very concerned for their future since Gavin died.
