Title: putting into context
Description: Zeno?
Alexandria Riddle - July 13, 2005 11:59 PM (GMT)
Books scattered, everywhere.. Everything in sight was of books, bookmarks, and anything that had to do with reading. It was almost to much for Alex to handle, it could've been almost like school, and Alex wanted that feeling. The thought of school made her want to get sick. This was also the reason why she was out and about. The time was not the afternoon, nor early morning, but it was late at night. Alex had snuck out to do some last mintue exploring, hopefully not getting caught by any teachers or prefects in the process.
Candles illuminated the shop while she searched the many rows of readings. It seemed very quiet, Alex was the only person exploring the shop. Her mother used to be a loyal employee at Flourish and Blotts so Alex was welcome inside the store day or night, school hours or weekends. Alex used this to her advantage and came all she could, it helped her get away with skipping school so much.
Setting her finger on the spine of the book in front of her face, Alex's green eyes darted to her left. Something had zoomed out of her view. Alex then rolled her eyes and looked back at the book that she had been looking at. Then, there was a crash from behind her. Alex began to get annoyed "Dammit!" she said turning around, taking her finger off the book. Noticing that no one was there, she faced the shelf again, realizing that she had lost her spot. "Grreeaaat" Alex groaned.

Walking down the streets of Diagon Alley Zeno wasn't worried about being caught. He's always walked around here late at night without anyone questioning. There weren't many walking at this time of night, many are in their homes. As he pushed the door open to Flourish & Blotts he heard a loud crash.
Someone else was in the shop. He walked over to a shelf of books and picked out anything he thought was merely interesting. Picking out a book about magical schools he stood there and flipped through the pages. Holding the book he walked around the shop. He heard someone in the shelves.
Walking over to the aisle the person was staying near, he saw a girl. He was shocked, it was Alex.

Alex glanced from the corner of her eye and someone seemed to be in her view. Having a hard time getting a solid glance, she turned around and faced the person. Soon enough she noticed that the person standing before her was her ex boyfreind Zeno.
She wasnt shocked by his appearance, and wasnt worried that she haddnt spoken to him in months. She had gotten caught up doing things with Josi to even notice. Alex had also just broken up with Aiden, which ment that she was trying to flirt with half of the guys at the school.
Zeno looked good, from what she had seen. Alex tried to remeber back to his normal attire, her mind came to a blank. Either way, Alex couldnt careless. Without saying a word to him, she faced the book shelf again and finally picked out the book she had seen before. Then, setting it in her arms she faced Zeno again, with an arrogant smirk on her face.
"Long time no see eh?" Alex asked.
((OOC: I hope Zeno dosent get offended.. Alex is going through her "I am a badass" phase more then ever))
Zeno Brookes - July 14, 2005 01:11 AM (GMT)
Alex glanced his way then went back to searching for a book. He stood there seeing if she'd even say anything to him. He wouldn't be suprised if she didn't. He watched her pick out a book and again turn to face him.
She had a smirk on her face, he didn't like it. "Long time no see eh?" Alex asked. He looked at her with an emotionless face " Yes, it has been quite awhile. I guess you were too busy with Aiden to talk to me?" He bluntly said. He didn't know if she was still with Aiden but, he'd soon find out. The whole mess between Alex, Aiden and him wasn't one of his fond memories.
Alexandria Riddle - July 14, 2005 01:36 AM (GMT)
Alex's emotionless and arrogant facial expression clashed with his own emotionless one. She didnt seem to care whatsoever if she had hurt him, he was the one that had hurt her in the first place, and she had alot more going on with her then to even think about what he had done to her.
She rolled her eyes at Zeno's question. "Yes, as a matter of fact I was busy with Aiden.. and accutally got a life.." she replied as blunty as he did when he had asked Alex the question, "Believe it or not Zeno, I have my own problems as well".
Alex still held a grudge against Zeno and she couldnt seem to let it go. Although she had no problem that he was wanting to get into relationships with men, the problem was that he was in a perfectly good one with her and he decided to end it so shortly. Aiden happend to be the only one that seemed to care at the time.
"And I am not with Aiden anymore.. I'm playing it solo, I am not waisting my whole hogwarts experience" Alex exclaimed.
Zeno Brookes - July 14, 2005 06:19 AM (GMT)
Alex still had that bad ass side of her in her still. He hated that side of her. Zeno always knew what to do to push her buttons. " I see you haven't changed much and if your comment about having a life is directed towards me that's quite pathetic. I'm sure you'd be able to come up with something more insulting" He said staring at her.
" I never said you didn't have problems, I know god well you do have problems. You shoud change your attitude about things and maybe, just maybe you wouldn't have as many or any problems at all?" He didn't mean to sound harsh but, if it came out that way then so be it.
Zeno didn't give much thought to what she said about not being with Aiden anymore. He could care less about whether or not they were together or broken up. " So your saying that you wasted your Hogwarts experience by going out with me and Aiden and all those other boys?" He inquired.

Alex smirked at Zeno. Everything that he had said didnt phase her. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a lighter and pack of cigarettes. ""My attitude is quite fine" she exclaimed glaring back at him. "And some of these things I didnt have any control over, so don't play that sort of thing with me, you should know better".
The Alex that once cared deeply about others was gone. She had put on a hard shell due to everything that had happend with her mother, she didnt care about anything, even if it ment comming to the subject of him and Aiden. She then took out a cigarette and set it in between her lips. Then, answered his last question
"Bingo" she said lighting the cigarette up. The end of the cigarette lit up showing a small purple glow, not an orange glow, since she was smoking wizard cigarettes. "Not suprizing eh?" she said taking and inhale and exhale "You're very good at ending a perfectly good relationship".
Zeno Brookes - July 14, 2005 08:42 PM (GMT)
" You should stop being in denial. It'd make it easier to accept the truth. I know you don't have control over somethings but, you should atleast try to control them. Don't make anymore excuses." He said coldly. He placed the book down on the shelf nearest to him.
" I always remembered you being cold and emotionless but, not to this extent. I guess somethings happened to make you act even more like an asshole or dare I say it, make you act like such a bitch." He didn't want to hurt her in anyway but, he had to say what was on his mind at the time.
" I had my reasons for ending our relationship and maybe I sense that you hold a grunge with me because I did end it. Because maybe you still have feelings for me and your not willing to admit it."
Alexandria Riddle - July 14, 2005 08:48 PM (GMT)
Alex took another inhale of her cigarette while she ignored his comments. Well, she ignored them to a certain extent. "I am not denying anything, I have been completely honest with you and I still am" she exclaimed blowing smoking to her left. She knew that Zeno had always hated her smoking, she always did anyways but this time, she wanted to pull one out on purpose.
"Heh, I wasnt the one who is acting so coldly and caused the conversation to be harsh from the start. " she replied giggling a bit "Some things do change, and I can be as heartless and cold as I want to be.. but I am not being a bitch.. nor feeling like being one.. everything seems peachy keen if you ask me".
Alex laughed out at Zeno's last question. "Feelings? For you?! Ha! Don't flatter yourself"
Zeno Brookes - July 14, 2005 08:59 PM (GMT)
" You know what I'm done with talking to you. I'm not gonna even waste another breath on someone not nearly worth it." He said picking up the book and holding it by his side.
" You keep smirking and laughing like it's no big deal when in all reality it is a big deal. You can make jokes about it and laugh it off but, you know that deep inside your just hiding everything you really want to express. But, that's your choice. I'm gone." With that he turned and headed for the door.
Alexandria Riddle - July 15, 2005 12:14 AM (GMT)
Alex rolled her eyes and looked back at the book shelf that she was once searching in. She didnt care about what Zeno had thought about her now, nor what Aiden, or Cassie even thought about her.
"You do that hun.." she said huffing her cigarette once more. "And next time, don't glare at me from a distance, because even looking at me is a waste of time". Alex then grabbed another book and glanced back at Zeno before he had walked out the door.
"Goodnight" she said sarcastically while winking at him and blowing him a kiss. She didnt make any attempt to get him back into the bookshop, since she had not even wanted to talk to him in the first place.
"heh".
Zeno Brookes - July 15, 2005 04:42 AM (GMT)
Walking out of the shop he wasn't angry or anything. Emotionless. He walked down the streets once more, thinking not about Alex in general. He stopped and sat down in front of an inn. Oh boy, what a night he thought to himself.
The night just couldn't get anymore better. Looking up at the sky he only could think of Jeff. He missed him so much. He wouldn't see him for another couple months. He couldn't wait that long. A thought came to his mind but, he sort've put it in the back of his mind.
