Title: A Little Treat

Lucine Yesevan - July 13, 2005 09:01 PM (GMT)
As he opened the door, Lucine heard the common creak of the old architecture of Diagon Alley and was immediately refreshed. The feeling of being in the wizarding worlds possibly most famous street was quite incredible, and yet the shops and atmosphere were so humble and a bit querky - not crowded and typically metropolitan. This wasn't a muggle street, it was a place special to wizards and witches from around the world.

Florean Fortescue's ice cream parlour was another of those querky places in the street. Along with the ordinary flavours of ice cream, there were a few... unorthodox ones that some select wizards and witches were fond of.

Lucine waited in the queue until he reached the front. He ordered a double scoop of chocolate in a cone and sat down at one of the few remaining tables in the shop. There was another chair beside him that was empty.

With nothing to do, Lucine opened a copy of the Daily Prophet left on the table and read through the headlines. A few of the images of the people involved in the articles moved into their blank canvases and looked curiously and Lucine. Feeling uncomfortable with this, Lucine closed his newspaper and looked up.

[ OOC: Hint hint. There's your cue. Be sitting there... Or approach. Whatever you like. ]

Alexandria Riddle - July 13, 2005 10:15 PM (GMT)
Alexandria was making her way around the many shops. Finally, comming to her conclusion, she once the ice cream parlour. Alex smirked knowing what she wanted. Then, once her decison was final, Alex walked into the shop with sickles and galleons in hand.

The woman at the counter seemed to be look unhappy at Alex's enterance. It woud make some sense because Alex would randomly come to diagon alley during the school day and cause chaos.

"Chocolate" she said to the girl with an innocent look on her face. The girl sneered at Alex "Yeah Yeah" she said and disapeared with an icecream scoop. A few moments later the girl had reappeared with her icecream in a bowl. Alex smirked "Thank you doll". She then set the money on the counter and turned around.

While Alex looked around, she noticed someone sitting with a newspaper. It looked as though she has never met in before but she seemed to be interested in talking to him. Alex was now being more and more of a flirt now since both aiden and herself called it quits. And now was a great time to show off that side of her.

"Hi" she said holding her icecream bowl. "is this seat taken?" she asked.

Lucine Yesevan - July 14, 2005 08:25 PM (GMT)
Lucine noticed an older girl standing beside him. He pushed aside his newspaper and opened his hand out at the chair, gesturing that she could sit in it.

With nothing else to do, Lucine decided to talk to this girl and find out more about her. "Hi," he said, trying to break the ice and leaving a pause "It's nice to meet you. Are you a student at Hogwarts too?"

He realised that he was probably making a prat of himself and looking like a bewildered first year. The girl looked much older than him and so he knew that he couldn't do or say anything without looking like a desperate young kid, which he wasn't anyway, so he just wanted to keep things simple. "I'm sorry, I don't know your name..."
