Physical Description: Jack is built very tall and very thin. He has black hair and brown eyes. He is also very pale. He is does not look very tough, but instead he looks like he would be easy to beat up. He wears glasses and has a geekish tone to him. He also always carries a pack of Hoyle playing cards with him.
Personality
Personality: Jack likes to help others in need, as long as he wouldn't get in trouble with his parents, the school, or the society. He is very intelligent for his age and loves to read books. He also has a very bad habit of correcting other peoples' grammar, spelling, and wording. He rarely ever gets angry. He likes to think things out instead of rushing in headstrong. He is the kind of friend that you would want to be partners with during class.
Relationships and Social Skills: Jack is extremely polite and well mannered. He is on great terms with his family, and is always looking for new friends. He is hard to dislike (unless you are one of those people who hates intelligent people).
Weaknesses: Jack is not very strong at all. He couldn't put up a very good fight on muggle terms. Also, he feels very uncomfortable being in the minority (seeing as how most of the students are European) Also, he suffers from an extrme case of vertigo (gets really dizzy when he is up high). He is also not very handsome at all.
Strengths: Jack is extremely intelligent for his age. He would be the male, American version of Hermione Granger. Although he knows a lot for a muggle, he knows very little in the wizarding world. Also, even though he is not very handsome, he is quite charismatic. Even though he isn't strong, he is pretty quick. He also knows a few sleight of hand magic tricks.
Past, Present, and Future
History: Jack's mother had a one night stand with a man she had met in a bar. This man was able to do "magic tricks" (thus the reason Jack thinks he is a halfblood). After sleeping with her, the man was never found again. Jack's mother then married a man after Jack was about a year old. He was brought up as a muggle and was very surprised when he got the letter from Hogwarts. He had never believed in magic (except for the slight of hand tricks) but then something came over him when he read the letter. It was as if everything he knew had been changed and he knew that the letter was telling the truth.
Here and Now: Jack is now struggling to make new wizarding friends and fit in. He wants to learn all he can about the wizarding world and make his parents proud.
Long-term Outlook: Jack had always wanted to be a teacher, but now he is unsure whether to be a muggle teacher or a wizarding teacher. He also now hopes to be Head-Boy of Ravenclaw.
