Title: skipping school
Description: take two (calling Josi)

Alexandria Riddle - May 26, 2005 11:58 PM (GMT)
((OOC: This is gonna be hard after being on AU for so long))

"Who needs Ancient Runes anyways" Alex said as she walked down the much empty streets of Diagon Alley. Most of the people her age and younger where at Hogwarts or at their school in class wasting their lives away and over using quills. Alex would be amongst the students, but she wasnt exactly in the mood for any class whatsoever that day.

So what better to do then make a second attempt to skip?

Alex sat on the street corner and pulled out her pack out cigarettes. Lighting one up, she pulled her robe around her, the alley seemed colder then usual. She was hoping that Josi had gotten the message that she had sent through her text book. Who wouldnt notice it? Afterall all you had to do was open to any page and you could see the message.

" Josi,
I have plan for today, and I know its something you can't refuse. Meet me on the corner.. You know where and when
~AR
"

Alex looked down at her watch. "She's one minute late!" Alex murmered. Then, from behind her, she could hear footsteps, a smirk formed off the corner of her mouth. Alex knew right away who that person could possibly be.

((OOC: I know, but still, it'll work, we just have to remember that at Hogwarts, theres rules and teachers that can stop us from doing what we want.))

Josi had opened her book during class and laughed aloud. Causing the teacher to stare at her nastily and give her extra homework. Not that it mattered, she very rarely did it when she was supposed, yet could still, strangely, pass everything.

'I'm just talented...' She thought to herself, as she shoved her hands into her pockets and walked down Diagon.

Alex had told her to meet her at the corner, it was the one near an alley by the pub. No doubt she had something incredibly fulfilling planned.

She walked up behind Alex, and kneed her gently in the back, plonking herself down next to Alex, Josi pulled herself out a cmoke and lit it.

"So Miss Demeanour, what you got planned for us?" Josi asked, acting unimpressed, but her smile gave away her interest.

Alexandria Riddle - May 27, 2005 12:10 AM (GMT)
Exhaling her smoke, she smiled. "Finally" she said to Josi with a smirk on her face. The alley was pratically all the themselves, no one could really say anything since they had no right too, so they both could still do whatever. Flicking the ash off the tip of her cancer stick, she glanced back at Josi.

"Wellll, I was planning on getting drop dead drunk, and do whatever seems fun once it pops into our heads.. Unless there somethings you want to do before that?" Alex replied. It didnt seem much like a plan, but it was a hell of alot more fun then sitting in class and reading any book or writing any scrolls till the teacher is content.

Alex inhaled and looked around the alley for a few moments, there was no one around at all. Alex was expecting some adults yelling at the two, but there was no one.. which made no sense to her whatsoever. Alex exhaled "Got any ideas?"

Joseliel De Montroi - May 27, 2005 12:16 AM (GMT)
Josi watched the smoke float into the air as she thought about something to do.

"Well, we could always go grab something to eat, do a bit of quick shopping, naturally, then head into the pub, or just wander in and out of shops avoiding any person who looks to be older than 20." Josi stared at the ground for a moment, trying to picture the endless shops that ran down Diagon Alley and Knockturn Alley.

Standing up, Josi walked to the other wall and leant against it, flicking her smoke absently she watched Alex for a while. It had been a while since they'd skipped together, and hopefully this time, they're plans wouldnt be foiled by an inconsiderate professor.

Alexandria Riddle - May 27, 2005 12:26 AM (GMT)
Alex nodded. "Sounds good.. I wouldnt really care if we met an old person in a store.. even though my dad would probably flip out... again" Alex said with a bit of a grin on her face.

"What shall we do first?, Are you hungry?" she asked Josi. The two teens continued to sit on the corner and smoke their cigarettes. Her father would murder her if he had any clue what she was doing or how close she was to his office. This made Alex chuckle.

"What are you going to do when you are older? Are you gonna live your life without any education and smoke and drink and get into things your shouldnt? Do you want to have a good life?"
The words of her father swam through her mind. She rolled her eyes 'Its not like my life isnt already messed up, my mom is dead and your are living under an alias' Alex thought to herself. Breaking out of her daze, she stood up, and awaited Josi's answer.

"So?" she said with a bit of an annoyed tone, but being sarcastic "what are we gonna do?"

Joseliel De Montroi - May 27, 2005 12:52 AM (GMT)
"Well, I'm bloody starving, theres a shop around the corner that sells pies and stuff. I also want some new shoes, clothes, hmm, something for my dog, a book... I dont read much, but apparently the pictures are good..." Josi mumbled the last few words under her breath as she threw her burnt out smoke on the ground and stamped it out.

She looked behind her to check that Alex was following and headed over the Alley to the shop, it had some fancy name, but underneath it said patisserie... That's all Josi needed to know.

Stepping into the shop, the smell of sweet pastries and hot pies filled her senses, her mouth watered. Josi walked to the counter and pointed at a pie. "Can I have that one please?" She asked, handing over the money before stepping aside so Alex could have a look.

"What you feel like, sweet or savoury...? Or something else, I dont mind following ya!" Josi said, taking a big bite of her fresh steak and mushroom pie.

Alexandria Riddle - May 27, 2005 01:30 AM (GMT)
Alex shrugged, she knew that Josi probably had a grocery list of things she needed to do...or let alone wanted to do. All Alex wanted to do was sit and cause a bit of trouble, but shopping was always a good thing, even for alex.

Walking over toward where Josi was she watched as she got her food. Alex sighed "I feel a bit more on the sweet side today" she said and walked over toward the chocolates. She smelt the bread and pies in the air. It smelt really good. Alex went againts what she really wanted and got herself soup in a bread bowl.. good enough eh?

Taking sips of her soup she finally ended up just having the bowl. She looked over and laughed at josi. "I'll think I'll munch on this for awhile" she said stripping the bowl. "Now, lets go look at shoes" Alex said with a smile.

Joseliel De Montroi - May 27, 2005 01:40 AM (GMT)
Josi opened the door and stepped into the suddenly busy street.

"You know what hun, you read my mind..." Josi said, as she walked across the Alley to a clothes shop which stocked manipulated versions of muggle clothing, made to look like wizarding clothing, which looks like muggle clothing, which is supposed to look like wizard clothing...

'Oh confusing...' Josi thought, as she scratched her head, but it was a still a pretty good interpretation... Josi always wore muggle clothes around the house, and the shoes and clothes had a few things added on, a collar here, a patch there, a deep pocket on the side...

"I'm gonna get my first pair of boots today, I've always wanted to some, but never found a pair that fit properly, or felt comfortable... Oh what about these ones..." Josi bounded over to the shoe rack and pulled a long knee high black, soft leather boot with a thick heel from the shelf...

Alexandria Riddle - May 27, 2005 01:51 AM (GMT)
Alex looked over at the now busy street. 'that was fast' she thought to herself. Alex followed Josi into the clothes shop. Alex too got confused by the clothing selection that was in the stores. Alex almost always was found wearing muggle clothes. Even her shoes, which if anyone even touched, would raise hell.

Josi wanted boots.. and thats what Josi was going to get. Alex walked over toward the shoe rack and watched her as she picked out the boots that she wanted. "Those would look good" she said agreeing with the shoe Josi was holding up. Alex looked over at the rest, they all looked pretty good, but she knew that they probably where really unconterable. Alex looked over at a pair of shoes that she had not seen in the store before.

"Oh my"

On the rack, was a pair of chuck taylors with flames going off the sides of them. Alex's eyes where in awe when she saw them. Out of every shoe, her favorite was a muggle shoe which where the chuck taylors. And luckly, since they where in her size, they where also in a wizard clothing store and where dirt cheap. She had to buy them, so she grabbed them, and waited for Josi to grab her selection.

Joseliel De Montroi - May 27, 2005 03:12 AM (GMT)
"Looks like they've got something for the both of us..." Josi said, as she threw herself into the chair and kicked off her old shoes...

She pulled the boot onto her leg, it slid on, and already Josi knew there was something special about this shoe. She tied the laces up the sides and stood up, taking the other off the rack and putting it on also.

"Oh my god, these are it, these are the boots I've been looking for all my life... My precious little feet will be happy now." Josi said, strutting around the store, slightly taller, and feeling all the more intimidating.

"I love those too, so you!" Josi called to Alex as she made a long catwalk move from one end of the shop to the other. She stopped next to a rack full of jackets and pulled out a long white suede one. Even though she'd most likely stain it, Josi tried it on anywayy, it fit perfectly.

Walking around the shop once more, swinging hips and sexy pouts like a model, Josi stopped in front of Alex. "Come on, theres some really nice jackets over there..." Josi said, pointing, before staring at her soon to be new boots lovingly.

((OOC: And so begins Josi's obsession with black heeled boots and long jackets... :P ))

Alexandria Riddle - May 27, 2005 03:24 AM (GMT)
Alex's eyes appealed at the long black coats. "trenches" she said with a smile. Alex loved her trench, but it was falling apart and she had it for years, she could bear loosing it. She could always get a new one, which is what she was comming close to doing.

"Grand" she said while rummaging through the many racks of trench coats. She looked over at Josi and started to wonder if she too had a sick obsession with trench coats.

Alex shook her head a bit. "Why would I need this now?" Alex asked herself. She shrugged and continued to look more and more until she could find the right coat that she has always wanted and adored, but there wasnt much luck yet.

Joseliel De Montroi - May 29, 2005 10:49 PM (GMT)
Josi laughed.

"Just buy one Alex, you wont regret it, but you will if you're not walking round in a shiny new trench...!" She said, as she placed her white jacket and new black heeled boots on the counter.

She turned around to watch Alex fluttering by the coats rack, and slid a few galleons over the counter to keep the chattering store clerk quiet.

"Where to next?" Josi asked.

"Oh I just had a thought. We should organise a schedule to sort out which classes and how often we can skip em... Know what I mean?" Josi asked, attempting to explain herself she continued.

"For example, we have each class 3 times a week right, so once a week we skip Arithmancy, Runes, Transfiguration, Potions and Charms... Make sense, thats one class a day, then we just switch the schedule for the next week adding in the classes that we didnt have the week before." Josi said, playing with her hair staring at the ground, her forehead creased slightly as she slipped into deep thought.

Not thinking, she grabbed the bag with the coat and slipped on her new boots, walking out the door.

Realising she left Alex behind, Josi stuck her head back in the door. "Sorry hun, thinking... You coming?" Josi asked, closing the door, stepping back out into the busy street, lighting a smoke and leaning against the window.
