Family Information:
Her father, Keanu Blackbird, was Singapore's National Quidditch Team's (The Red Unicorns) coach, tough he is now retired. He is the one who gave Summer her passion for Quidditch; she was very close to him. He comes from a line of very severly pureblood wizards, who did close to repudiate him when he married Summer's mother, but decided against it since he was successful in his career and thus a pride to them on that matter only.

Her mother, Milaa Vuuna'kalii, is a Veela fron the Fidjian veelan community of Na'ane. A magical language enthusiast, she speaks most of them fluently and works for Singapore's MoM as a magical languages translator and interpretor. Summer has mixed feelings about her mother, who she is fond of but for whom she never matched her expectations. (i.e. show a reasonable amount of girliness).

Besides her parent, Summer has a twin sister named Wynter Lao, formerly Hogwart's Astronomy teacher, Professor Rikhard Finn's wife who she is very close to despite her now living in Scandinavia. Her summer house is matter-of-factly neighboor to Summer's residence in Tulehu, where she often visit with her daughters, Megami and Milahi, now attending Beauxbâtons.

She is also Aunt to Kievan Tao Ordlay, Gryffindor, who is her sister Wynter's first and only son.

Summer herself was never married, as her last flame and possibly-sson-to-be-fiancée left her for an Egyptian Dancer back when Summer worked as an Archeologist in El Cairo, Egypt. She has no children, either.

Appearance: Summer is relatively short (5'4") and has a delicate built (coming from her chinese heritage) altough quite generous in curves (this time inherited from her veelan side). She has tanned skin from living in the tropics and spending more time outside then in. Her hair are black with hints of ancient reddish-brown highlights, and drift down to the middle of her back. She has slightly almond-shaped caol black eyes and has soft, delicate facial features with full lips. Like most half-veelan, she does not quite appear her age.

Personality: Summer is a blunt, energetic person who has a liking for life, it's earthy pleasures as well as all kinds of fat, rich and sweet food. Altough she is generally talkative, not to forget hyper once her blood-sugar level gets high, she has her loner moment and is instinctively drawn to sarcasm and cynism, in which she likes to dip herself several times a day, just for good measures. She is not one to be fooled, and will hold grudge when need be. She also gets herself in trouble often, both from her mischievous character and her clumsy disposition. She is quite kind with students, altough she clearly lacks of patience with them; she is not mean, however, despite what her stern façade with children would make you think. She is a very excentric person, and anyone stepping in her cat-filled house will make quick to notice so.

Pets: She owns a big fat pigeon named Burts, who nonchalantly drags her mail when need be, as well as a big fat black chinchilla named Pooky, who she enjoys poking when boredom strikes her.

Broom: A brand, new, shiny Cleansweep 11, who she kisses goodnight every day before heading to bed.

Magical Ability: Summer has inherited her father's family's legendary quick-wits, or if you prefer, lightning reflexes. When watching Summer in action, especially when teaching, you get the feeling that she is watching everywhere at the same time, which isn't quite far fromt he truth; nothing slips away from her eyes as long as she is the tiniest bit concentrated. Her ability's weakness lies in her usual lazyness, where her lack of paid attention disminish it greatly.

Reason For Request: Summer is a very nervous person when on duty, and adrenalin is often not enough when you do a job that implies putting more or less experimented kids and teens at a great risk for injuries. This ability would benefit her greatly, especially in her job.
