Title: Moonlit Flirting
Description: Josi and Blaine
Blaine Lindskold - May 16, 2005 02:42 AM (GMT)
Blaine walked along the edge of the lake, skipping pebbles as he went along. He'd put the dogs in for the night and set off on his own. He wasn't sure what exactly he was looking for, but he knew he was cravign company. Mainly that of a female. A small part of his head called out for Mara, but the logical side, that always seemed to be saving him, told him that that would be stupid. She hated him now and they'd only end up fighting and that would make him feel worse and even more alone. No, he was looking for something else..... more of a soft touch.... or at least a playful one. But definitely no fighting.
But in the end, he'd given up on that idea. Almost every girl he knew was friends with Mara and would murder him if given the chance. So he'd gone to the lake. The giant squid or whatever it was could keep him company. He only hoped that it wasn't one of Mara's friends, too. He didn't much feel like being drowned tonight.
Joseliel De Montroi - May 16, 2005 02:48 AM (GMT)
Josi had decided it was probably safer to leave Scar in her room for the night. She always wreaked havoc at night, and Josi wasnt in the mood to chase her.
Walking down towards the lake, Josi pulled a ciggarette from her bag and lit it, she watched as the smoke drifted into the starry night. Looking around she noticed a figure sitting by the water, he looked extremely familiar, but she couldnt recall why from a distance.
Padding closer, she realised it was Blaine. 'Eh, why not?' Josi urged herself to sit with him and make general chit chat.
"Alone? No Mara, no other girls... Why Blaine, your losing your touch." Josi said, flashing a quick, flirty smile.
Blaine Lindskold - May 16, 2005 03:01 AM (GMT)
Blaine blinked when he heard a female voice. He turned around and saw Josi coming up beside him. "Wow, a chick that's actually talking to me in normal tones. Amazing." he said, then he turned back to the lake and tossed another pebble. "Mara and I are..... growing in different directions, shall we say." he said. Yeha he and mara might be at odds, and they might be mad at each other, but he would never dream of saying anything to put a blush about her name. ((AHHHH TOO MUCH CRUCIBLE!))
Suddenly he felt better. Maybe it was havign a girl there. Maybe it was that it was Josi. Maybe it was the obvious chemistry between the two. Maybe it was just that someone was flirting with him rather than yelling at him. Either way, he felt better.
He turned back to her. "And you, all alone on such a dark night?" he took a step closer. "That's not very safe..." closer. "Why, any monster could come along and just.." face to face now, he lowered his voice "eat you up." His eyes stared straight into hers, electricity flowing from them, along with Veelan charm. "We wouldn't want that..." he raised a hand to her face and ran one finger lightly down the curve of her left cheek. "now would we?"
Joseliel De Montroi - May 16, 2005 03:11 AM (GMT)
A thousand thoughts of what Josi would like to do to Blaine all popped into her head at once. She didnt know Mara, in fact, she hadnt even seen her. So, anything that happened between Josi and Blaine was nothing to worry about. Blaine said it was over, and Josi was happy to go along for the ride, whatever that may be.
As Blaine stepped forward, Josi smiled slyly. "You know, your Veelan charms dont work on every woman, sometimes its just you." Josi said, sliding her hand into his, placing it on his chest and letting go, walking over to the rock and sitting down.
"I'm not sure I know you well enough to allow these kinds of suggestions..." Josi said, staring into the water.
((Yay for POTC))
Blaine Lindskold - May 16, 2005 03:19 AM (GMT)
((POTC? lol I suck with acronyms))
Blaine smiled at the compliment and even more when she pulled herself away. A challenge, eh? He LOVED challenges! He watched her sit on the rock and smirked. He could have her right then if he wanted, but he didn't want to. Not yet anyway. He wanted to play with his food. If you will.
He walked up behind her and pretended to be interested in something in the distance as he slid his hands slowly up her arms to come to rest on her shoulders. The he leaned down and whispered into her ear, in his deep voice and with his strong accent. "Then what kinds of suggestions will you allow, Ms. De Montroi?" he rubbed her shoulders lightly. "Please. Do let me know." he continued the massage. "Cause there are so many things I want to suggest...."
Joseliel De Montroi - May 16, 2005 03:24 AM (GMT)
((Pirates of the Caribbean - "You know Mr Sparrow, I dont think I've had enough rum to allow that kind of talk..." Kiera Knightly, on the beach!!))
Josi licked her lips, and smiled devilishly. He thought she was playing hard to get, when in actual fact, she was enjoying herself immensly. The prize at the end of a chase was always much better when you made the person at the end wait for it.
Josi moaned slightly, and sighed. She hadnt had a guy touch her in a while. The last did enough damage to her, enough to make her wary of men and anger.
"You know, I'm slightly intrigued as to what kinds of suggestions you have in mind?" Josi stepped up, she felt Blaines hands fall down her back as she stepped forward.
Turning, she stared him straight in the eyes, and grinned. "Well, how about you tell me a suggestion that I'll consider, then I'll give you one. That way we can see if we're both on the same wavelength."
Blaine Lindskold - May 16, 2005 03:34 AM (GMT)
Blaine chuckled as she said she was intrigued and stood.
"how about you tell me a suggestion that I'll consider, then I'll give you one. That way we can see if we're both on the same wavelength." She said.
He grinned. "Fair enough." he looked off to the lake once more, pretending to be thinking. In fact, he was sort of.
Hmmmm... to rush you to my room righ tnow or make you work for it? He looked her over. Slender figure, dark, flowing hair, she was drop dead sexy. God I wanna push her down on the grass right now.... but no... play with the food, then eat it, Blaine... You can wait.... You haven;t had anything in over a year and a half, but you can wait.....
He suddenly stepped right up to her and began to kiss her passionately. When he pulled away, he looked down at her with a sly grin. "You were saying?"
Joseliel De Montroi - May 16, 2005 03:39 AM (GMT)
Josi was taken by surprise, but didnt let herself give in that easy. His kiss was good, but he wanted her bad.
"Well, as I was saying..." Josi slipped her hand around Blaine's neck and pulled him close. Leaving the lingering sensation of her lips on his as she kissed him soft but fiery. "I think you need to get out more."
Josi turned and walked around the lakes edge, the slight breeze blowing her hair around her face, she turned and smiled at Blaine, urging him to follow her.
"Dont take too long, I may change my mind and decide I'm scared of the dark." Josi said. She'd never been into the forest around the lake at night. It wasnt forbidden, well, at least the foilage around the waters edge wasnt.
Blaine Lindskold - May 16, 2005 04:20 AM (GMT)
Blaine grinned coyly as Josi led him into the underbrush of the forest. Out of sight from wanderers' eyes. He liked it. He walked up behindher and nonchalantly leaned against a tree. "I have to admit to you... Mara and I have been...at ends, for quite some time... Sorry if I'm a bit rusty in everythign I do, I haven't even kissed a girl in quite a few months...." He looked her up and down. His initial hunger had died down and was replaced with a cool calm. He was faling back into the flow of flirting now. At first he'd been too eager, but when she'd kissed him lightly he'd noticed his own eagerness and settled himself down. He was not about to be the one chasing. That was her job, not his. He'd never chased after a girl before and never would.
So he kept his distance for now, leaning against his tree. "So, what other things did you have in mind, Joseliel?" he asked as he watched her walking around. "Anything as forbidden as the ground we now tread?" he asked, throwing in a hint at what was occupying his mind.
Joseliel De Montroi - May 16, 2005 04:31 AM (GMT)
Stopping beside a tree with Blaine, Josi winked at him.
"Hey hun, I know what its like to have no one for quite a while. Your not rusty when it comes to kissing and flirting, just slightly too eager. But, its good to see you still have self-control"
She took a step forward, the breeze was cold and it sent a shiver up her spine, she rested her head on Blaine's chest, he was warm, and he was breathing normally. The excitement really had disappeared.
"I was thinking maybe we could end up treading forbidden ground, but right now, we stand on safe land... Although I'm happy to venture forth if you are." Josi looked up at his face and kissed the side of his neck.
She slipped her hand into his and led him slowly into the forest, stopping beside the waters edge on a soft grassy spot, she often brought her dog Scar here, and knew that she was still within Hogwarts grounds. Josi sat down and wrapped her arms around her knees, trying to shelter herself from the cold.
Blaine Lindskold - May 16, 2005 04:40 AM (GMT)
Blaine wrinkled his nose when she spoke of self-control. So he;d gotten a bit too excited, didn't mean he didn't have control. Talk abtou an ego killer. But then she was huddling up against him and leading him into the forest. And hinting at more. "I'm up for an adventure tonight." he said in response to her metaphor.
He sat down beside her on the grass and slid his arms around her to keep her warm. "I have an idea." he took out his wand and said a few spells. "Accio blanket, accio pillow, accio jacket, and incendio." he pointed this last one at a small branch nearby, then hopped up to grab it up before it set the rest of the forest on fire. Grabbing a few other sticks, he set them in the grass in front of Josi and lit them with the first branch. Then he waited for his other things to come flying toward him. "He caught them each and dropped them to the ground. Walking to the water's edge, he picked up some rocks and brought them back to place in a circle around the fire.
Then he grabbed the blanket and, with a quick flutter, he spread it out in the air and let it float softly to the ground. He took the pillow and set it softly on the blanket, then took his lather jacket and draped it carefully over Josi's shoulders. "Any better?" he asked softly as he sat down beside her.
Joseliel De Montroi - May 16, 2005 04:46 AM (GMT)
"Arent you a sensitive guy..." Josi said smiling... "Thankyou." She added, in a hushed whisper, she kissed him again, she couldnt help herself, she had to have more.
She stared out at the water. Josi could feel her limbs again, and Blaine's presence was enough to warm her heart, which, until only a few minutes ago, had been cold to the male species.
"What now?" Josi asked, in a tone that suggested she was up for anything. "Your call..." A smile formed on her lips. Her hair slipped in front of her eyes. The moonlight was shining down onto lake creating the most beautiful image Josi had ever seen. She suddenly felt the urge to cry, a single tear fell down her cheek, but she wiped it away. Most guys were scared of girls and their emotions.
Blaine Lindskold - May 16, 2005 04:58 AM (GMT)
Blaine looked down at the girl beside him. The moonlight mixed with firelight made her even more beautiful than she normally was. "Now we sit." Blaine said, knowing that it wouldn't be long until she was chasing and he was once again the one leading the way. "It's too beautiful of a night to be wasted away unnoticed. We sit and we take it in." he looked back at her. here was a tear on her cheek that she quickly wiped away. He leaned in closer and lightly kissed the spot where the tear had been. "Speak to me, Josi. A girl like you doesn't cry for no reason. What's wrong?"
Joseliel De Montroi - May 16, 2005 05:07 AM (GMT)
Josi stared at the ground, trying to work out how much she could tell Blaine, and how much he needed to know. Of course she trusted him. But she'd never been one to give up information about herself. She rarely dwelled on the past, but Blaine made her realise not everything requires grudges.
"The longer you hold a grudge on one part of your life, the more you waste away a future which looked bright. I've had a bad track record with guys. The last one cheated on me, with multiple women. I didnt care for him, he wasnt good for me, but it was fun. The previous ones have all been abusive in some way. A guy like you hasnt come my way yet. Sweet, funny, but still wild..." Josi laughed. Her sadness melted away. She told someone, and the grudge she'd had on males was starting to fade.
"I dont care what happened in the past, I have a future I'm willing to make, but sometimes I can't help but wonder 'what if'... But its okay, you dont really need to know these things. Theres more to the story, but sometimes pain is better left untold." Josi closed her eyes. Her history was dark, her family new nothing. She was happy being the youngest little socialite bubble in the De Montroi family. It gave her life some meaning, and she didnt want to hurt them by revealing that she'd kept more from them than she ever should have. She'd never tell a soul, well, maybe just one, but not now.
"I'm okay though... Although, if you want me to answer questions I dont mind. Its easier that way. I'm not hiding anything, rather, I'm trying to skip over the darker facts." Josi lay back on the pillow which Blaine had magically made appear, she stared up at the night sky, and smiled about the future she was bent on having.
Blaine Lindskold - May 16, 2005 05:23 AM (GMT)
Blaine nodded silently. He completely understood. He opened his mouth to speak, but somehow he couldn't bring himself to tell her about his uncle. He hadn't told anyone.... And much as he wanted to tell Josi that she wasn't alone, that he knew how she felt... he couldn't bring himself to say what he was going through out loud. To admit to someone that he couldn't protect himself, much less his sisters, the only people in the world left that he would give his life for... well save for one, but she was in no danger.....
He lay down beside her and traced a hand lightly through her hair. Still silent, he could only hope that she in some way felt that he understood. He kissed her lightly on the cheek once more, then wrapped his arms around her as they lay there, her staring at the sky, him staring at her. So once again, he found that he wasn't the only one out there that had been abused.... and he still couldn't bring himself to comfort those like him....
Joseliel De Montroi - May 16, 2005 05:30 AM (GMT)
Turning her head to look at Blaine, she realised that his loss for words, or at least his silence, meant some sort of understanding had passed between them. She could only imagine why.
"Well... As much as I love this silence, theres plenty of other things I'd rather distract myself with." Josi flashed another quick smile and flipped over, resting her head in her palms. She ran her hand through Blaine's hair, and planted a kiss that made even her lose her breath.
"Wow, my kisses are becoming too much for me to handle, or is that just the lust I'm feeling?" Josi admitted, laughing to herself as she sat up, and stretched backwards. Curious as to how flexible she was, she kept going back, until she was staring out at the water, her head resting on the blanket. "Haha, cool..." Was all she could say.
"Okay, now... help me up" Josi said to Blaine, she was too lazy to use more muscles than she had to, not that she felt the need to use any with Blaine sitting right there, who she was sure, wouldnt mind climbing on top of her to bring her back up to a vertical position.
Blaine Lindskold - May 16, 2005 05:38 AM (GMT)
Blaine chuckled. He watched, very interestedly, might i add, as Josi stretched back until she was arched all the way back to the ground. His eyebrows raised in wonder. "Okay, now... help me up." she said. Blaine grinned.
"I don't think that will be necessary." he said, as he sat up and faced her. "See.... I don't want you up." he gently pushed her stomach until she was once again lying flat, then rolled over top of her. Grinning once more, he kissed her neck, then lightly bit it. Then he took his tongue and traced a line up the middle of her throat, blowing lightly on the line when he had finished.
Joseliel De Montroi - May 16, 2005 05:43 AM (GMT)
Josi shook her head as she was pushed to the ground.
"You know my plan was to get back up and do that to you..." Josi said, slightly annoyed... "You ruin everything Blai..." Josi complained, stopping mid sentence as he kissed her neck.
She ran her fingers through his hair and pulled his head back, kissing him harder and faster than the first few times. Her hair was annoying her now, she lifted her head and pulled it back behind her, slipping a hand into Blaine's shirt, Josi ran her cold finger tips up his back.
Blaine Lindskold - May 16, 2005 05:46 AM (GMT)
Blaine shivered as Josi's hand ran up his spine. She was freezing to the touch. But that was the last thing on his mind right now.
Surprisingly though, Mara had suddenly entered his mind. He'd wanted to have moments like this with her for quite a while, but she had been far too reserved to ever let anything like that happen... far too....innocent....And he didn't have the heart, nor the cruelty, to try to coax or force her to.
But as soon as she had entered his mind, Mara left it. Josi was kissing him. Josi was out here with him. Josi was talking to him like a real person, not a possession. And Josi was the one that, as the stars above twinkled slowly and the moon made it's way across the sky, Blaine was about to set off into forbidden territory with.
