Has anybody ever noticed that the people in HPU are primarily girls like theres some guys like......well im not gonna name any but its kinda weird..........huh!!! :velho:

That seems to be pretty common among Harry Potter fans, at least older ones. I think teenage guys are expected to be all macho and only like football and video games and stuff, which discourages them from openly liking HP.

lol for some reason girls rping guys makes alot more sense than guys rping girls...dunno why...(no offense to any guys that do rp girls)

Eh, I hate the macho sterotype. Sucking at every single sport probably helps me to hate it too.

This is very common. I mean almost every RP place I go to, its almost all girls. And I don't go to just Harry Potter Roleplaying forums mind you. I'm not sure why, its kind of weird.

Eh, it depends on the kind of forum. I've noticed that HP forums tend to have a lot of girls, but forums based on games like Final Fantasy *gestures to link in sig* tend to be the opposite.

Though cross-gender RPers can sort of make it hard to tell. Not that I've anything against it- I've oft thought I'd like to try RPing as a guy, but I've never got 'round to actually doing so for some reason.

I've noticed that too. I have my own hp site and most of the people that sign up are girls. There are some guys, but not very many. But ya never know. There are cross rper's though...cuz I was like a cannon for Peeves on this other site and I'm a girl so yeah, that can happen.

Yeah, I know a lot of "guys" who are really girls.
