Family Information: Alyson herself lives alone, but is content to be so, as the company of books keeps her more than occupied. Her family itself is of great wealth but relatively little fame, and she has come to inherit quite a few Galleons from them. She does not need to teach, but prefers to as some way of staying at Hogwarts.

Hometown: Alyson does not leave Hogwarts, it is her primary home. The family is from Tewkesbury, England.

Physical Description: About 5'9", normal build, long wavy blonde hair, refined and delicate features, brown eyes. Often looks down her nose at things. Alyson is generally resplendent in only the finest robes and gowns, and likes to wear ribbons in her hair.

Psychological Description: Enjoys her position of authority perhaps a little too much, and absolutely relishes her power to punish and reward students. Now, she feels, she can force them to be studious, proper, and perfect.

Alyson herself is rather detached from the real world, even the wizarding world, as she spends so much time alone and reading. Her knowledge is utterly formidable, especially in her field, but she is blissfully oblivious to pretty much anything besides herself. Alyson openly adores her old house, and treats its members like her own children, but otherwise acts about as mature as your average fourth year. She generally cannot fathom why something wouldn't go her own way, simply by virtue of her wealth and nobility. She unapologetically considers herself better than nearly everyone else because of her intelligence and capability, and takes matters of respect (for her) very seriously. She may unknowingly insult others with her air of superiority. Cross her, and she will do it very intentionally. Her weakness is an inability to accept that she is wrong and know when to give up.

Can, and will, let even the slightest compliment go right to her head.

History: Alyson grew up in the British countryside, free from cares and responsibility. She had no siblings and was treated like a queen by her parents. Most of her younger days were spent in private tutelage, causing her to be far ahead of peers in intelligence, for which she thanks her parents daily. Her upbringing has also made her extremely well-mannered and well-spoken, and she looks disdainfully upon those who may not know all the particulars of proper etiquette.
