Well, I'm new and I was wondering if I should still post my character description eventhough I have not been sorted yet.
Oh, and also, I was wondering why my "group" or title was "Unsorted First Year", because my charater is a sixth year. I think I may have caused some confusion on my registration. I accidently wrote my age on the Sorting rather than the age of my character. Just wondering if I could somehow fix that.

Don't post your character description untill you have been sorted, but if you sent in the application a while ago and still haven't been sorted, you might want to pm Breena and ask if she noticted it. With the age it won't say 6th year untill your sorted and if you did the wrong age just pm Breena and she could probaly fix it. (She can fix almost anything! :bleh: )
I only sent my application in a bit ago so I don't think I will bother anyone about that. Thank you. I think I will PM Breena about the age mishap. =)
Your user group is "Unsorted First Year" because that's the group that everyone automatically gets put into by the IF system upon validation. When you are sorted, it will change to your house.
In other words, it has nothing to do with your age. In fact, we don't care what age your character is, as long as they are some age between 11 and 17 (or 18, depending on when their birthday is). However, we do prefer that you not flip-flop the age around (i.e. 14 one day, 18 the next, 16 the next... etc.). Most people usually stick with whatever age they start their character out as, then move them up when the terms change.
If you've submitted your sorting application, then you should be sorted later tonight or tomorrow sometime. :smile:
