Family Information: Kasey is the youngest of five children born to Patricia Piermattei. Her father, Anthony, fled the house when she was very young, leaving Patricia to support the family on a secretary’s wage (she works for a struggling attorney in London named Michael Parsons). None of Kasey’s siblings (Aaron, Lucy, Zach and Lawrence ) ever showed any trace of magical power. So it was quite a shock when her letter arrived.

Hometown: The outskirts of London.

Physical Description: Small, pale and slender with dark brown hair and blue eyes. After years of being shoved aside and drowned out, she has perfected the art of invisibility without the art of magic. She often goes completely unnoticed, and she likes it that way. Or at least that’s what she tells herself.

Psychological Description: Kasey is very shy and very timid; she spends far more time thinking about what she’s going to say than actually saying it. She is uncomfortable in any social situation, undoubtedly a result of being repeatedly lost in the shuffle of her large family.

History: Over the years, Kasey’s shy nature has not stopped her from achieving academic excellence. All the energy any other teenager throws into socializing, she throws into studying. And reading. And composing highly detailed research papers that no one in their right mind would ever really find interesting. Besides academics, however, the only other activity that Kasey has ever shown even mild interest in is horseback riding. In one of the very few times she ever made herself heard to her mother, she convinced Patricia to find room in her tight budget for riding lessons.
