Family Information: Shes not from a rich family, but she is not poor. She live with my mother only (her father dissapeared). To be blunt, She is half and half. Her mother is a witch, and Her father is a Muggle. She lived mostly in the Muggle world (that way she could understand both places better), but her mother always explained the Wizarding world to her so she wouldnt be as confused. Her mother, on the day that she left for school, gave her a necklace with a black stone on it. She carry it with my always.

Physical Description:She is not BEAUTIFUL, but she have a uniqueness to my beauty. She is NOT Japanese, she is Jamaican, but her name is Japanese. She hase long ebony colored straight hair that is very strange, mostly to her. When wet, it curls to ringlets. If She combs it and drys it at the same time, it turns straight. She has soft chocolate colored eyes. Some say they are honey colored, but she swears they are chocolate brown. And her skin is a rich chocolate color as well.
Psychological Description: She is very shy, smart enough to get by, but always worries about her friends and wishes to help them. Moods may change sometimes so much to where she doesnt seem to be the same person. She can be surprising.

Reason: Hotaru has always wanted to be a Muggle counselor when she grew up, and this was why. This is why she always wants to help, not because she always seemed rather intuative, but because she was slightly Empathic. Just slightly, not too much, but enough to know it was there. She does have to concentrate for it sometimes, and may actually see things, if she (again) concentrates hard enough. She rarely uses it, only when she wants to help her friends. She tries not to be so nosy, but she worries ever so much.
