Personality: Reserved and observant by nature. Rather aloof. Can be cynical. Usually reading or pondering. Smiles at the wrong times. Doesn’t like smiling too often because it makes her look cute. Raised in a family of elitist nutcases, it takes a lot to shock her. Not a huge fan of enthusiasm, unless it’s the right kind. Generally friendly, can be clucky if she’s fond of you. History: Azalia is the youngest and only female child in the Bulgarian and Czech Karstark family, and consequently was to have a marriage of convenience to another old and noble wizarding family. Originally attended Durmstrang Institute, but fled to relatives in Britain when she learned of her betrothal. Her name was changed to Azalia Greenleaf, an old family name on her mother’s side, and she was transferred to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Was sorted into Ravenclaw and gained excellent results when she finally accepted the differences between Hogwarts and her former school. When she left school she had training in the Ancient Magics, which she chose because of her non-human blood. This training included Ancient Runes, and when she saw that the position of Ancient Runes Professor was open at Hogwarts, she didn’t hesitate to apply.
