Title: Advise on my drawing

Ok, I have been working on this pic for 2 hours and I'm very proud of it, but I want to know if there is anything I should change about my drawing steps, here's what I did
This was just my start, I didn't really care what it looked like, as long as everything was ok
I nowticed the eyes were sort of ick so I tryed to fix here
I erased a bunch of scrap lines
I made the ear thingie things
Color and lines fixed
Colored on good drawing program
Darkened lines
Fixed lines
Fixed ears and finished

I see them...
Well, let's see here.
The eye on the right is shifted upward.
The ears are really disproportional.
The snout looks crooked.
The colors aren't right.
The lines are too thick.
What's up with the black junk in the ears?
LOL, that little 'wrinkle' above the nose is HILARIOUS. If you pretend that's the nose and that the acutal nose is the mouth, it looks like a drooling ape from Hell.
You probably should have left its ears like they were on the next-to-the-last one. The "fix" on the last one makes it look much more like a mouse than a lion.
I can tell you did that all on the computer, which is bad news. From what I've heard, and ESPECIALLY what I've seen, actually drawing the picture IRL then scanning them produces MUCH better pictures. You could probably ask Lila or Kitsu about that if you need help, they're both UNSURPASSED artists for their age.

he reminds me of simon on american idol iv only seen it once and i hate it
i like the drawing i cant draw good in paint but i can draw with pencil and paper

This wasn't a thread for us to BLINDLY COMPLIMENT her work. If people always did nothing but compliment, no one would ever get better at anyhting. Bijou probably WANTS to get better, and I KNOW she doesn't mind my rudeness (she's known me a long time and i know she can handle a whole lot, anyway). I've only seen a little of American Idol, but that Simon guy is my hero.

This was back in April, Bijou must have taken the pictures down already. Basically it was a picture of a lion and it was pretty well done for a computer drawing.
