Everyone is decorating the clubhouse. They are preparing for when the parents come, it's Parents Day tomorrow.
:hamtaro:: This is gonna be super! Our parents are coming to visit us!
:howdy:: Wait and see what my parents are gonna do. It's squaredancing time! Bring out the squares and remove the circles please! He he!
Everyone sweatdrops.
:dexter:: Well at least you are more excited.
:pashmina:: What are your parents like?
:dexter:: My parents sell rice cakes. The best back in my old home in Italy.
:howdy:: Italy? That's small. Take it from me Pashmina. My parents are from America, and we know how to put a good joke or two.
:dexter:: I see how it goes for them then.
:howdy:: Why you!
:stan:: Me and Sandy's parents are cool rock stars.
:sandy:: They performed in different concerts together. That's how Stan got his..well...coolness.
:stan:: Yeah man!
:cappy:: My parents collect hats and other stuff.
:bijou:: I hope my parents come. I wanna know what they did for a living.
:maxwell:: My parents are librarians. And what do you know? So am I.
:hamtaro:: Hey Boss, what do your parents do?
:bijou:: *taps him* Hamtaro...
:hamtaro:: Oh yeah. Sorry.
:boss:: Oh don't worry about it. It's cool.
He heads for his room.
:hamtaro:: Boss, I didn't mean it.
:boss:: Really, I'm fine.
He goes into his room.
:bijou:: Don't feel bad.

Boss lays on his bed. He sighs.
:boss:: Parents day. The day where everyone celebrates with there parents.
He puts paw under pillow and takes a picture of him as a baby with his parents.
:boss:: Mom, dad. I miss you. Very much.
Shows picture again. Boss then falls asleep.

Flashback (Boss is a baby now in these moments okay?)
Boss's father (Tai), is waiting in a room waiting for something to happen.
Tai: Julie. I hope you'll be okay.
Then a nurse ham comes out.
Nurse: Mister Tai? You can come in now.
Tai: Then that means.
He goes into the next room. He sees Julie holding a baby hamster (Boss (Young Boss (YBoss))) in her arms.
Tai: Aw. Our baby.
Julie: It's a boy Tai.
Tai: A boy. What should we name it?
Julie: Before we decide, why not hold it?
Tai: Okay.
He holds YBoss.
Tai: Man you're fiesty aren't you?
Cause he's struggling a big, in a good way.
Tai: Oh you must think you're so tough huh? *idea* I got it! We'll call you, Boss.
YBoss giggles. He's returned to Julie.
Julie: That's a good name.

A few weeks later.... YBoss is crying.
Julie: Tai!
Tai: Yes honey bakes?
Julie: Could you help me with Boss? He's getting upset again.
Tai: Okay!
He goes over to Boss. He picks him up.
Tai: There there. It's okay. Don't cry.
Boss stops crying.
Tai: There. No more tears.
He sits him back into the cage.
Tai: Here. Play with this little guy.
He gives Boss a teddy bear. Boss plays with it for a bit. Then he falls asleep.
Julie: You are good with him. I'm glad I married you.
Tai: I'm proud to have a son like him. He's gonna be a good field ham someday.

Two months later....The parents are teaching Boss about being a field ham. He can talk now.
YBoss: Daddy! Are Green Berries good to eat?
Tai: No son. The green ones taste bad. They give ingedestion.
YBoss: What's that?
Julie: It's when your stomach feels all tinglely inside and need to cure it.
YBoss: Oh.
Tai: See that cat over there?
They see a cat on the ground.
YBoss: What's that?
Julie: Cats are things that can hurt hamsters. They can eat you if they wanted too.
Boss gets scared.
Tai: Don't worry. As long as you stay away from them it won't get you.
YBoss: Okay.

On his birthday... They are walking through a park. Boss is blindfolded.
YBoss: Where are we?
Julie: Hold on Bossy wossy.
They remove the blindfold. Boss gasps. We see a beautiful rainbow in a sunset over the ocean.
Parents: Happy birthday Boss!
YBoss: It's beautiful! I never seen anything like it. I'm gonna remember this for the rest of my little life.
Tai: You are one year old now. Isn't it good?
YBoss: Yeah. I can't wait till next year. I'll be big and strong then!
Does a few punches and kicks. He almost falls but Tai catches.
Tai: Hold on there Tiger. You ain't there yet.
Julie: You're growing up so fast.
YBoss: I have the best parents in the world. I love you guys.
They hug. Tai's ears perk up.
Julie: What's wrong dear?
Tai: Something's coming.
He hiffs the air.
Tai: A storm is coming. We'd better get going.
YBoss: Aw. So soon?
Julie: We'll come back here tomorrow okay sweetie?
YBoss: Okay mom.

The storm is on and they are heading home still.
Tai: This storm is getting intense! We better get to somewhere soon!
Julie: But there's no where to go to!
YBoss: I'm scared! What if the storm sucks me up?
Julie: Don't worry. We'll get home soon. Just keep close with us.
Boss holds tightly to Julie. They keep walking. Boss gets blown into an alley.
Parents: Boss!
YBoss: Help me!
He keeps being blown away into a single alley. He hits a garbage can and nearly knocking it over.
YBoss: Where am I? *gets up* Mom! Dad! Where are you?!
Then something falls over.
YBoss: Who's there?
Then a shadow comes out. It's a cat.
YBoss: Who are you?
The cat jumps down. Lightning strikes to show the cat's face with many scars.
YBoss: Sc..Scarn!
Scarn prepares to swipe his claws. Boss turns to run and Scarn swipes him. Cutting his ear. Boss gets out of the alley.
YBoss: Wah! Mom! Dad! Where are you?!
He's running and crying in pain. He hides under a tree.
YBoss: My ear. It hurts.
He feels it.
YBoss: Owchichi!
Lightning strikes near the tree a few times. Then he sees a spark of lightning above the tree.
YBoss: Oh no! It's gonna hit the tree! And I'll be hit!
Lightning strikes down. Boss watches in fear. His parents come from nowhere, and toss him away from the tree.
YBoss: Mom? Dad?
The lightning hits the tree and Boss's parents are zapped.
YBoss: No!!!!!!!!
The storm then clears as it came. Boss runs over to the burnt bodies of his parents.
YBoss: Dad! Wake up! Please!
Goes to Julie.
YBoss: Mom! Please wake up. Please don't go. Please don't go.
After a moment, he makes tears.
YBoss: No...Noooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He starts running for home.
YBoss: (I can't believe it. They just....in front of my eyes they....they didn't get a chance to.....)
He starts to slow down and stops in front of a tree in front of his home (his home as a kid is the clubhouse, only smaller). He looks at the tree and kicks it madly. He rushes to the door. He puts his face onto the door crying.
YBoss: Why? Why did they have to go? Why?!!!!
He starts crying some more.

Later he eats some sunflowerseeds, and watches TV. He sees some programs with children and their parents. He turns the channel to find another one. He keeps doing this and gets mad by the second. He then turns the TV off in furry.
YBoss: How can I go on with this? Without parents to show me how to live I can't even consider myself a field ham.

Later that night, he's asleep. He has a dream about what happened today. He wakes up.
YBoss: I can't sleep....Mommy! I can't.........oh yeah. I forgot.
He sighs.
???: Boss. Do not be sad.
YBoss: Huh? Who said that?
???: Don't you know? We raised you from when you were only a baby.
YBoss: Mom? Dad?
Two ghost images of his parents appear.
YBoss: It's you! You came back!
Tai: Not exactly.
YBoss: So you have to go back then, huh?
Julie: Yes.
YBoss: Okay.
Tai: Please don't be discouraged Boss. We may not be with you right now, but we are watching over you. We're sure you'll grow up big and strong just like you want to be.
YBoss: But how? I didn't learn everything you were gonna teach me.
Julie: You don't need us to learn. Being a field ham takes experience to be one. Just keep going the way you are and you'll grow up fine.
YBoss: Really?
Julie: I'm sure you'll carry your courage to future generations. You are very brave indeed. We're proud of you.
Boss starts to get watery-eyed.
YBoss: Oh Mom, Dad.
He runs over to them. Even though the parents are transparent, Boss is in a state where he thinks he's actually hugging them, they are hugging him back.
YBoss: I'll miss you guys.
Tai: Be brave son. You'll be just fine.
Julie: And remember, we love you.
They stop hugging.
YBoss: Bye. I love you too.
They disappear.
YBoss: Mom? Dad?

End Flashback
Boss wakes up from the dream.
:boss:: Huh? What day is it?
He checks the calendar.
:boss:: It's today! Parents Day!
He checks the window of his door. He sees everyone with their parents. Everyone except Bijou has parents with them.

With them by the way.
:howdy:: I told you our jokes are great!
:dexter:: Well I guess so. For a first.
DMom: Dexter. Remember what we taught you about manners?
:dexter:: Yes mother.
:hamtaro:: This is Bijou. Remember from my last birthday?
HMom: It's been awhile.
:bijou:: I know. Same here.
:hamtaro:: So where's your parents Bijou?
:bijou:: I guess they're not coming.
:hamtaro:: Don't worry. Maybe next time.
:bijou:: Yeah.

Back with Boss. Bijou comes into his room.
:bijou:: Boss? You awake?
Boss is putting the picture he had back under his pillow.
:boss:: Hey Bijou. Shouldn't you be with the others?
:bijou:: Yeah. But I figured I'd see you for a bit.
:boss:: Where's your parents? I'd like to meet them.
:bijou:: Well...um...actually.....I don't have any parents....
:boss:: What?
:bijou:: You see. I was so young. I don't know what happened to them. I hadn't seen them for like a long time. I only remember seeing them disappear one day. I don't know what happened. I guess I lost them.
:boss:: I see.
:bijou:: Well I just hope I see them one day.
:boss:: I hope so too.
:bijou:: Why don't we go see the others?
:boss:: Alright.
They head for the door.
:bijou:: I hope you aren't upset about today.
:boss:: Oh don't worry. I'm not sad anymore.
