Too bad N64 emus are a biz-natch... not as bad as PSX emus though. You tryin to bust in on my turf, Richard? :D

Where can I get the Melee ROM?

Oxnard - July 19, 2003 12:05 PM (GMT)
But wouldn't it be incredibly lame on the PC? For starters, it's meant as a multi-player/party game, and you can't really play with 3 other friends on a PC. Plus unless you own a game controller for your PC, playing SSBM on the keyboard is going to be insane.

...interesting... does it work? is it laggy?

maybe i should /l it..

The original Smash Bros ran okay for me when I tried it a while ago.

For SSBMelee you'd need like 3 gigahertz at least... and is there even an emulator for gamecube out yet? If so, I would like to see it.

well it doesn't depend all on the processor, it helps if u have graphic card like GeForce or Voodoo, a good mother board also helps a lot, my pc has a GeForce 2mx and an intel 845 motherboard, its so cool :)

i have both roms and emulator. i had this one problem. my friend kirby200 told me to go to this place where you can vote 3 times and then you have to accept this sercurity stuff. the place i'm talking about is this. gpemu.cjb.net

those places are always fake, they make vote, even if u voted the 3 times u can't access the dowload section, i hate that kind of places, if i was u i wouldn't bother voting

there's no other places where you can download N64 roms except that link i gave you guys, but there's 2 problems.

1. you gotta vote 1, 2, and 3

2. accept the sercurity warning.

those are the 2 problems.

The first Smash Bros. is leaning in "party" status but you can still have a ton more fun than in single player if you just go against 3 CPUs with funny options like all bombs and 200% damage in multiplayer. Also, you almost NEED a controller to play almost any emulator, if you ask me. The cool thing about PC controllers is they're insanely easy to install and program and they work with ANYTHING that supports them (i know that sounds stupid, but i mean, you can use one controller for any "system" and for PC games as well)

Melee ROM? Heckifiknow, I dont mess with the gig-bigs very often. It's out there though, a friend of mine has it, fella named Killa. You can get it off of IRC if you wanna take the time.

you can play PJ64 if you have USB Game Device or other controllers. the USB game device lets you play on the computer with attached Playstation 1 and 2 controllers. well when i was playing paper mario the left analog stick was ok and the right analog stick was not used.

Emulation doesn't work well with first gen 3D (N64, PS1, Saturn)
But it's suckier than that with this gen 3D (GCN/PS2/XB)
