I do not own Hamtaro. This is a B+B fanfic. And this story is not part of GS3 (you know about it right?).

Anyway, today is September the 21st. You know what that means. It's Boss's B-Day! But Boss doesn't seem too excited. Why? Read to find out.

We are at the clubhouse. The hamhams (except Boss) are talking about what to do about his B-Day.

:hamtaro:: This is so exciting. Just wait and see what I got him for his birthday.
:snoozer:: zzzz, zzzz. Happy day. zzzz
:oxnard:: I'm not sure what to give him really. I think he'll like my seed.
:hamtaro:: But didn't you just eat it?
:oxnard:: Oh yeah.
:hamtaro:: Don't tell him this but, I got him Shovel Polish. He can use it to make his shovel very shiny.
:pashmina:: I got him a nice looking scarf. And Penelope got him flowers.
:penelope:: Le kqee!
:stan:: Dude. I've been wanting to teach him how to play Duel Monsters with me. So I got him a "Yugi Starter Deck."
:sandy:: Who needs cards? I got him hat polish.
:panda:: Me and Cappy made a little figurine of him. It's so relistic.
:cappy: Yeah. And you can take his stuff off and put it back on.
:dexter:: I was working on a special pair of glasses. These babies can see in the dark. And glow in the dark.
:howdy:: Ha! Who needs glasses when you can have, a Box of Tricks. Get it? It's what I got him. And it's what he needs. He he!

:maxwell:: Well I got him something mind bending. I got him a "Golden Sun" GBA game. I've heard it's one good RPG.
Everyone: Wow.
:hamtaro:: Hey Bijou. What did you get Boss?
:bijou:: Well. It's a surprize.
:hamtaro:: Oh come on Bijou. Boss's not here yet. So tell us.
:bijou:: You'll just have to wait.
:oxnard:: He's coming you guys!
:hamtaro:: Quick! Hide the gifts!
They do so Boss walks in. He is upset.
:hamtaro:: Hey Boss! How's it going?
:boss:: I don't want to talk about it.
He walks towards his room.
:hamtaro:: Heke? That's weird.
They enter his room.
:hamtaro:: What's wrong Boss? Don't you know what day this is?
:boss: Yes. It's my B-Day. The worst thing to happen to me.
:hamtaro:: What are you talking about? Everyone is happy about B-Day's. That's the best thing in everyone's life.
:cappy: We get good stuff on B-Days!
:sandy:: Like toys.
:pashmina:: And games.
:penelope:: Oou qu.
:stan:: Don't forget about the cake. It's always one's best joy.
:oxnard:: Ah cake. My second favorite thing.
:boss:: Guys! Some people just don't like B-Days. And I'm one of them.
:hamtaro:: Why?
:boss: I do't want to talk about it okay? Just go away.
He pushes them out of his room. Slams door. Something falls from a shelve.
:bijou:: I've never seen someone mad about birthdays.
:howdy:: Hey what's that?
Picks book up.
:howdy:: Finders keepers I always say.
:dexter: (takes book): Howdy! This fell from Boss's bookcase so it's his.
:howdy:: So. I'd give it back for money.
:maxwell:: Let me see.
He looks in it. A picture falls. He picks it up.
:maxwell:: Hey. Look at this.
:hamtaro:: It's Boss as a kid. And those must be his parents. No doubt about it. I mean why else would he keep a photo like this?
:maxwell:: It says here..... um guys. You might wanna see this.
They read.
:hamtaro:: It says here that his parents died September 21st. That's today!
:bijou:: Do you think that's why he's so upset about today?
:hamtaro:: I don't know. But I think we might have to find out. Keep reading.
Boss comes out. They hide book.
:boss:: I'm going out. I don't know how long.
He leaves. They peer from door.
:hamtaro:: We gotta find out why he's so upset about today. And I know how to.
Everyone else: How?
:hamtaro:: One of us can talk to him and the rest can set up the party.
:oxnard:: I don't know. Didn't he say he didn't want a birthday?
:hamtaro:: Well let's just see why he doesn't.
They follow Boss. They catch up.
:boss:: What do you want now?
:hamtaro:: Plesae Boss. Tell us why you don't like your B-Days. We'll understand why.
:boss:: That's what you think. But it's too complex for you. You'd understand more if you were like me, a field hamster.
:hamtaro:: I don't understand.
:boss:: Normally a B-Day is a day to celebrate with not just friends. But with family. And this day would make me happy. But how can I be if this so called good day is also the day when something tradgic happens that makes this once a year day so awful. I lost something more valuble to me on a day like this. And that's something you guys wouldn't understand. So there.
He runs away.
:hamtaro:: Wait don't go!
Few seconds later.
:maxwell:: That settles it. This day is the day that a few years ago, his parents must of died on.
:sandy:: Duh. It's shouldn't be too hard to guess. He lost his family.
:hamtaro:: Guys we gotta do something. We gotta show him that we are like family too.
:howdy:: I don't know what's worse. Getting yelled at now or later at his party.
:hamtaro:: That's it! Let's just throw the party anyway. I mean no one would be complete without a B-Day party. We care for him no matter what. We are like one big family to him. So let's go for it. You with me.
Everyone else: Yeah!
:howdy:: ONe problem. How are we gonna get Boss to come back now that he's just ran off like a cow running from it's pasture?
:dexter:: You sure are mister negative.
:bijou:: I'll go talk to him. He probably talk to me.
:hatmaro:: Okay then. Try to get him back to the clubhouse. We'll get set up. Move out hams!

Somewhere else. We see Boss watching the sunset.
:boss:: (It's been so long since then. Since we've been here.)
Then he hears something. He turns around and sees Bijou.
:boss:: Oh. Hi Bijou.
Turns back around.
:bijou:: Boss. Why don't we talk.
She sits next to him.
:bijou:: Come on. Tell me all about your problem.
:boss: I don't want to talk about it. It's too complex and it'll only make me feel worse about myself.
:bijou:: Don't be zilly. Nothing can make you feel bad. I'll understand what you must feel. Just please tell me. I'm your friend and so I must know.
He looks at her, eyes gleaming.
:boss:: Okay. Just don't tell the others about this okay?
She nods.
:boss:: Alright. It started about three years ago.
Flashback. We see a kid Boss and his parents.
:boss:: I was an only child to my parents. I was their treasure. They loved me a lot. I felt secured with them. They wouldn't leave me. They always protect me. They taught me everything about field hams and house hams. Everything was good. On my first birthday I saw this sunset. It was very good. I'd never forget this sunset. But then, a violent wind was blowing. The sky turned black. And a storm was brewing. We tried to escape. The lightning was everywhere. I got seperated from my parents and ended up in an ally. A cat appeared and scratch my ear. Leaving what you see now. It hurted so much as I ran. I was lost. I took refuge under a tree. I thought I was safe. But then lightning hit another tree. Some things fell from it. Then I saw one nasty lightning cloud over the tree I'm under. I was a goner. But then my parents came and saved me from being hit. But they were hit by the shock. Near death, they told me not to be afraid. I was crying. I couldn't hold it. I was gonna lose the only thing that makes me happy.
:bijou:: What happened?
:boss:: They eventually pass away. I headed home with their corpses. I rested them on the beds, and covered them up. I locked the door and destroyed the key. I packed my things up, and took the family ablum. I was on my own. Over the years I made my own home. I had no one to depend on. I was all alone, for three years I've been alone on my special day.
End Flashback
:boss:: I'll never forget this day for it's the same time as my own family was taken. This day was just a day of sadness. I don't see why it would make me happy. Without some people to love you on this day, what's this day really mean?
:bijou:: But you have the hamhams and me right?
:boss:: You don't get it. You guys have families. I have nothing. It's not enough just to have friends when I don't have a family.
:bijou:: Boss. Would your parents want you to be sad? Especially on your own birthday?
:boss:: Well I..
:bijou:: They'll always be with you Boss. They may not be next to you, but they are in your heart. Sometimes when Maria goes away for awhile, like when I had to go to that animal hospital, I knew she would be there for me even when she couldn't see me. And I had you and the others supporting me too. All of us are like family. You just didn't see it before. Family doesn't have to be a mother or father. It can be your closet friends. Everyone you love and trust is like a family. And nothing can change it but yourselve. Now why don't we head back to the clubhouse and have a good birthday. What do you say?
After a few moments of thinking Boss smiles.
:boss:: Alright.
They start heading back.
:boss:: Thanks for cheering me up Bijou.
:bijou:: Do not mention it.
They hold paws.

They open the door to the clubhouse. It's dark..
:boss:: Everyone went home already?
Lights turn on.
Hamhams: Surprize! Happy Birthday!
:boss:: Wow. You guys. Is this for me? But I thought you wouldn't since...
:hamtaro:: We wouldn't care what you say about this. No one is ever happy without a birthday. We care about you Boss. We feel it's best to throw you this party.
:boss:: I know. All thanks to Bijou.
Bijou blushes.

Minutes later, after cake, they open gifts.
:boss:: These are great gifts you guys. Thanks a bunch.
:hamtaro:: Hey Bijou. Shouldn't you give him your gift?
Bijou nods. She gets gift. Boss opens it. It's a pair of doves.
:bijou:: Those are love doves. We each have one. So that we are together always.
:boss:: Thanks Bijou.
:bijou:: One more thing left.
She goes over and kisses Boss on the cheek.
Boss blushes.
:hamtaro:: So Boss. Is this a great day or what?
:boss:: Thanks you guys. I won't forget this day.
They take a group picture of this day. Then we see Boss put the photo in the family album. He goes to bed.

I liked it. The only I didn't like was the B/B. No ofence, I just like Hamtaro with Bijou.

Then you'll probably won't like GS3. It's kinda like a B+B fanfic, only it's a Fan RPG.

I really think It'd be H/B in season 3. Bijou has one idea Boss likes her, and she likes Hamtaro. But you can believe what you want.

I think in Japan, H/B are a couple but here they aren't

Japan has alot more esp then us.I don't when, I just heard they are. Dexter and Pashmina are a couple too.( There is no Season 3 here that I know of)

Well not really. I don't think they'll come out with the real GS3 for a long time. And if they did I'd change mine to GS3 Gaiden (which I have no idea what Gaiden means). But the episode today was most excellent. It was my favorite episode. I wonder if they'll show it again tomorrow like they did for Blossoms of Friendship. Which aired Monday and Tuesday. In the morning too!
