I am a bit concern that 3-5 pages essay on the Book analysis, i feel that this is too much...

Do you worry about font size or anything... Because i can't write 3 pages about Harry Potter books on paper...

Is the analysis everything? Characters, setting, themes?

Is it anything... How detailed do you want it...

I maybe asking for an extention because i have just recently finished my exams... And i may need some extra time to work on this...

I'm not meaning for this to come across as being mean or anything like that, so please don't take it as such, but a 3 to 5 page analysis on your favorite HP book is like the perfect dream assignment to have.

I would love to be doing that right now, rather than my 12 page research paper on aviation.

If you're writing on your favorite book, I can guarantee you will have more than enough information to make the 3 page minimum. All you're doing is summarizing the book and adding an analysis. For example, if you take Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, you can begin by describing Harry's life with the Durselys, his acceptance to Hogwarts, becoming friends with Ron and Hermione, making the Quidditch team, the mystery of the Sorcerer's Stone, and his face off with Voldemort/Quirrell. As for analysis, you can do anything from name meanings to how Harry is on a hero's journey. There is so much information to gather from these books and if you just have fun with it, it won't seem like work.

I'm not sure if Prof. Atlas has said anything on formats, but most papers are written in 12 size font and double-spaced, usually in Arial or Times New Roman. As long as it's legible and easy to read, I'm sure Prof. Atlas won't mind what font style is used.

And of course, you can ask for an extension as long as you ask Prof. Atlas in advance, but keep in mind that this isn't due until 15 December, so you still have over a month to complete this.

If you need any extra help, feel free to ask...and have FUN! :)
