Hi Amanda,
Hopefully Professor Atlas won't mind me stepping in here and answering the question for you.
Since this month's homework is a project, which tends to take a little more time and effort than the usual assignment, the point scale is extended for this one project, instead of having a project
and extra credit. A student can only get thirty points maximum for class work, as well as class extra work. So if you do the assignment and extra credit, depending on the professor, you can make up to sixty points per month, per class.
With me so far? Good! Moving on! :)
With the project, Professor Atlas has basically made it to where you can earn up to sixty points for this one project. If you go
HERE, you will see the project information as well as the grading scale Professor Atlas has set up.
Basically, since the project has a maximum of sixty points that can be earned, there's no way an extra credit can be assigned where you recieve points. Just do your absolute best with this book report project and you'll get your points. Just make sure you read Professor Atlas' post on the project, follow the directions, and you'll be just fine! :)
Have fun with this project,
Mira
