Hmm, I am 100% sure I submitted all the points I recieved. If you could e-mail me your HOL-NAME and ID I can check into it and get them points submitted.
I will not be submitting Octobers points untill the first week of November.
Paddy - October 22, 2003 06:18 AM (GMT)
Well, my name is Paddy O'Brien, PA061, Gryffindor.

Just checked my file, and still nothing showed up there. I know the Professor's office is kind of buggy for what pointsubmissions, but it's almost 3 weeks since the last post about the points.
Can you confirm that my points for at least september and october have been added?
Thanks.
Mirabella Nevlome - November 18, 2003 01:28 AM (GMT)
Paddy,
I just wanted to let you know that Prof. Atlas has been really busy lately with RL stuff, like her college mid-terms.
I understand that you want to see your points posted as soon as possible, but sometimes things have to be delayed. I mean for one of my classes, my September points did not get posted until the very end of October. Things just take time. Some people have more free time than others.
Prof. Atlas told me that she'll be posting the October points soon, so just hold tight a little longer and you'll see them! :)

As prefect, I'm very well aware of the fact that people are busy, thank you, but it's almost the end of november now, and still waiting for September points is a bit crazy, don't you think.
Mirabella Nevlome - November 27, 2003 09:13 PM (GMT)
You know Paddy, I really don't know how to take that reply, but I can tell you right now it's not coming across very nice.
By my post, I was trying to be helpful in answering your question because I know Atlas hasn't been around much. I thought you would appreciate a quick response instead of your question not being answered for a while.
It doesn't take being a prefect to know that people are busy and I really feel like you're trying to throw that in my face, so to speak.
Yes, it's the end of November and your points still aren't posted, and yes it's a bit crazy. You want to see what you've gotten for your work and I completely understand that, but we cannot control what is going on with Atlas and the things in her life.
If I read the tone of your post wrong, then I will apologize for misconstruing it.
Ophelia Kokafones - November 28, 2003 03:42 AM (GMT)
The same thing has happened to me. I only have my September points for this class. I was also curious what has happened. (The same thing for my other two classes, that doesn't concern you, but I am just wondering... :)} Well anyway, my ID is op400! Thanks. And no worries.
Ceit Uiseag - November 30, 2003 01:38 PM (GMT)
I didn't get points for October either...September points are all fine.
I'm ce400, Ceit Uiseag.
Prof. Nina Atlas - December 4, 2003 02:11 AM (GMT)
As of December 3, 2003 I have finally submitted all points that were in my grading book. September-November. If you do not recieve your points in your student profile within the next few days, please e-mail me. This might mean I never recieved your work or I just over - looked something in the grade book.
A few students have tried to claim they submited assignments when they really did not. Please note that I do save every single assignment that is handed in and I always record every grade into my grade book. Unless I can find your assignment or grade I require that you re-submit the work.
Im sorry for the delay, I offically have no computer at the moment, im using a friends at the moment. I do hope to have my computer fixed soon. Please don't forget to turn in Projects this month, they are due on the 15th, no late reports will be accepted unless I have spoken with you.
Happy Holidays to all!
Paddy - December 4, 2003 08:30 AM (GMT)
Thanks, September is in *G* I'm not sure if I did the EC for that month (I don't keep all assignments saved), and hope to see Octobers points soon too.
Thanks.
Julia Weflynn - December 5, 2003 02:13 AM (GMT)
I don't know whether to e-mail you or not professor, since I think someone else was grading my work.... but in the Grades section....The points I earned are listed, yet they aren't in my student file. I don't know.... Does what I say make any sense?
If you could please help, that would be great!

Velvet Vienna - December 5, 2003 12:33 PM (GMT)
I've got the same problem as Julia.... My points aren't in my file for October, but I handed them in and Mirabella has graded them. =). Just checking to see if you've maybe missed some of us who were graded separately or something.....
Thanks. =)
Ophelia Kokafones - December 5, 2003 09:14 PM (GMT)
My October grades have been posted on this forum, but neither my October or November grades have been added to my student file. Well anyway. Just an update, on what is going on.

I just received the HOL newsletter! (Yay, first one since August.) Well. I checked my student profile and I still only have my September points. Has the Ravenclaw grader not added them? I was just curious, because I did do the work and I want to gain points for my house. Sorry to bother you again Professor. You must be busy. Just let me know if I need to email them to you again. I have them all saved on my hard drive.

Chilek Broom - December 24, 2003 05:22 PM (GMT)
I think all of us have the same problem. Most of us can't see points in our student files. I think there is a litte problem about it but I belive that it will be OK! :)
Prof. Nina Atlas - December 30, 2003 05:47 PM (GMT)
I have found the problem! It turns out the person who confirms all the points has over looked many that I have sent in. Now that I have so many assitants we should have them points turned in by today. Im so sorry for all the confussion. Let's hope the class can get off to a better start in 2004! Happy Holidays to all! :D
