Like I've mentioned before, I'd like to be able to make an award for the monthly discussion. This is something I still need to clear with the HOL Office but I still feel would be a nice reward for those who take the time to participate in this class activity.

But we need a name. So far the suggestions are the Athena Award and the Ickle Inputter.

So in this topic please include a new suggestion or make a second nomination for one so we can decide.

I agree. I like Ickle Inputter. I think it is cute and appropriate.

The Ickle Inputter is definitely a cute award but I did like the Athena Award better because of who she was in Greek society. Either way, they're both great suggestions and I'd be happy with either, though I'm leaning towards the Athena Award.

Professor, I have something I would like to ask in regards to this award. Currently I've downloaded a trial version of Paint Shop Pro 8 and I would like to make a graphic for this award, just so whoever wins this will have something to show for it. I can make a few samples and show you what I have in mind if you like.

IDEA:

Let the Ickle Inputter be the monthly discussion award and use the Athena Awards at the end of year (Most Improved, Top Student, Most Dedicated, etc.)

This is all tentative but I still want your input. Its something to recognize those of you that put in so much work to make this class "the best it can be" (as those americans say. :D )
