What is the discussion worth (in points)

Not certain on this, but I don't think it's worth any points. The Assignment was worth 30 points, the Extra Credit was worth 30 points, isn't that the most points that can be given in a month?

Last year I did give 5 points to everyone who participated in the class discussion. This year, however, I am unable to give out too many points, therefore class discussion is not mandatory and you can do it at your own free will. Though if I do see that you participate in class discussions, I will take that into consideration when grading your homework, projects and Finals. So therefore it may be wise to participate!
