Title: Favourite Harry Potter Book
Description: Which is best? Why?

Okay, I'm just wondering who likes what Harry Potter book the best. Your choices are *drumroll please*

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Harry Potter and the Prisioner of Azkaban
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix

Quidditch Through The Ages
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

Note: Philosopher's Stone equals Sorcerer's Stone

In my opinion, Harry Potter and the Prisioner of Azkaban is the best Harry Potter book. There's so much mystery involved, and you get to meet the Marauders. Professor Lupin is very intregueing, and, of course, my favourite character, Sirius Black, is introduced for the second time, and this time we get to know him. It has a feeling of angst, and new classes are introduced.

What books do others like?

Note: I think it's okay to put spoilers in here, as there's a section on Order of the Pheonix in this class, but I could be wrong. If I am, then I beg forgiveness, and would Professor Baker please post otherwise. Thanks!

Always,

i too love prisoner of azkaban- sirius black is my favorite character and i loved learning about the marauders- we got a lot of background information in that book and i felt like i couldnt put that one down at all. it was the most suspenseful and kept me on the edge of my seat. i think i even read it while driving! (at red lights of course- i got beeped at alot!)

My favorite Harry Potter book is Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. That book is awesome, except for the ending.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was one of my favorites. Only because my favorite character (Sirius) was introduced and Voldemort did not make a big appearence in this book. It may be the only book he does not show up in, which makes it unique!

I also enjoyed Goblet of Fire! The tri-wizard tornament was remarkable! Plus, all the new people and diffrent cutlers we are introduced to.

I actually enjoy reading all the books, though I have to admit, I have only read book 5 once :o Good thing I took plenty of notes while I was reading it

Well, I really liked the last three books (Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, and Order of Phoenix).

Prisoner of Azkaban - Well, I liked this book because they introduced Sirius, and you found out that he was actually Harry's godfather, and that you find out about Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs. You find out that it was actually Wormtail was the one that had betrayed Harry's parents, not Sirius. And the fact that Harry learned an advanced spell, Expecto Patronum, which was cool. Also, Voldemort wasn't even in this book (though they did talk about him) which was a nice change of pace.

Goblet of Fire - Well, the fact that the Quidditch World Cup was held was very cool. The way the Death Eaters were there causing mayhem was also kinda exciting, though if I were there, I would be scared out of my mind. And the whole Tri-Wizard Tornament was cool. And you got to acknowledge the fact that Voldemort returned. Otherwise, there would be no purpose to the fifth book...

Order of Phoenix - This is probably my favorite book out of all three, with the mysterious view that is first portrayed about the Order of Phoenix... there still is some mystery as to what goes on in the meetings... and the fact that Ron got to become a Prefect, though I think I kinda expected it all the long... and that they introduced Luna Lovegood - how can you not love Luna?

Well, that's all I have to write for now! If I come up with things to add, I'll add them :)

I too must jump on the Prisoner of Azkaban band wagon....... that is by far my favorite book. We learned so much background information we had been dying for up till then, who the Marauders were, who really killed all those Muggles, who betrayed James and Lily and so much more. Of course we met Sirius and Remus, so how could that be bad. And like Justin said Voldermont didn't show up this tiime, so the book stood on its own.

I just hope the movie does it justice!
