Ok guys, what I want you to do is to tell us what points you are missing as of today...

Then put the month you are missing points, how many points you have recieved if you know and maybe add the assignment to prove that you did it and please also add you student ID

In book five we are re-introduced to the Thresals. Before all we knew was that they
delivered the Hogwarts students to and from the Castle. In book five we learn that the
Thresals carry a deeper meaning. With the help of new friends (Luna Lovegood) Harry is
able to finally learn more about this magnificent creature.

Skim through your copy of OOTP and list as many new qualities you learned about the
Thestrals. For example, those who have witnessed death can only see the Thresal.

They are attracted by the smell of blood. They are clever and useful. They arte fast and can fly long distances. They are classified dangerous by the Ministry of magic. They have an amazing sense of direction. They are very good at finding places their riders are looking for. They make smooth landings.

Harry Potter lost his parent to Lord voldemort whan he was a baby. Too young to remember the event, Harry was entrusted to his aunt who raised him without sharing with him the knowledge of his true nature. At eleven, when he finaly discover his legacy, he embarks on a selfdiscovery journey who takes him to Hogwarts were he discovers his parent’s world of magic. Despite the revelation of an extraordinary identity, Harry is still only an apprentice in the art of magic and new to the world and culture of wizards. This inexperience often makes him feel like an outsider. Being in late july 1980, Harry’s birthday can be symbolic. A parallel with the muggle world reveals that this period of time was abundant in international crisis. Harry’s could symbolise the world’s need for a hero. Harry defiance of Voldemort makes him an icon to wizards who seek the restoration of their world’s peace by the destruction of Lord Voldemort.

I am letting you know that there was no extra Credit for the November assignments... It was a major project...

And that question you have given me was not a november question

Well maybe the indications were'nt clear but on the class page there was a November question worth 10 points at this adress:

and as I said in my post I was'nt an extra credit it was a regular assigment. :)

What we can do is wait for Prof. Atlas to come on and then we can find out about it... Because for those who got 55 or 60 points, this extra credit maybe worthless because you can only earn 30 for class work and 30 for the extra credit...

I didn't recieve my October or November points. And I don't know what did I earn!!
So what will be happen?

Okay, there was a November homework assignment and an essay (mid-term). If you did the assignment you do recieve ten points, no matter how much you recieved for your essay. I've talked it over and I was allowed to go over the 60 points rule just for this month.

Chilek, your points are being submitted by Ella today, so don't worry. I found them all logged into my grade book. I highlighted them, which means I did submit the points, I just don't know why they did not show up in your student profile. :huh:

Eileen, I did check your student file and It said you recieved points for September, October and November. Your November Mid-term points were submitted on 12-29-03
