Ok. Does anyone know any good graphics and animation programs? I'd really need one. (BTW How can i get myself a custom title?)^_^

Goto www.download.com and find something in the Image Editing section.

I use Take One 4, its pretty good. Although its meant for animation, it works for just about anything!

for animation, i use Microsoft GIF Animator, but it's not as pro as animation products u could buy. for graphics, i use paint, but then again, game maker itself has many capabilities.

eg. gradient fill, blur, b&w, etc.

if i were u, i'd stick w/ those 3 programs, but for a much more professional job, u may have to pay for one :(

ya those basic programs work pretty good, and i hope Mark improves the gm graphics editor soon!

ya i noticed that...like in paint a cut and paste feature...thats why i use take one or paint for a lot of my sprites...

The essential to image editing.

For images I now use a combination of Game Maker (for the blur and intensity), Paint (for copy and paste) and Photo Editor that comes with windows (to set the transparency properly in the GIF's). That's quite a hassle but you can get used to it.
Edit - and CorelPhotoHouse, for the nice little effects you can have in there. I made the backgrounds on my site mostly with that.

Try Kazaa for (the illegal registered version of) Paint Shop Pro.
It's SO good! :P

Thats where i got PSP...its one of the best, i think. Kazaa is also useful for other stuff too!

Well. Ms paint is ok but paint shop pro. Go for image editing.
If want to create good grpahics. Use a 3d modeler.
Amations. MS Gif Amitor.

Anim8or is the best freeware modler. But is quiet hard to use.
I use Amip 4.1 at home and got 3ds studio max 4 at home.
