i know some ppl on this forum don't know what this show is, so let me try to explain:

a group of producers searched the US to find your average joe. they finally found him and he thinks he's competing against other regular ppl (but they're really actors) for $100,000 US. he stays at a beautiful house and believes the show is called Lap of Luxury, but during his stay, he is placed in unpredictable activities. all these activities have been rigged so he will stay for the final round.

it's down to 3 people:

Hutch - the a-hole
Brian - the buddy
and our average joe Matt - thinks it's all real

to win, 6 other past members of the game have come back to vote for who they think should win the $100,000. the votes:

Hutch - 2
Brian - 1
Matt - 2

if Hutch gets 1 more vote, he wins. if Matt gets 1 more vote, he wins. if Brian gets one vote, it's all tied up and we'll have to see what happens from there.

btw. did anyone c the Joe Schmo Marathon on Saturday? they played just about every episode :D

i saw the tale end of the marathon, the last 2 episodes...anyway is it on 9 Pacific or 6 pacific?

I was left in suspense for two weeks!

unfortunately, u had to wait half an hour for the 15 minutes that finally tells him it's fake. in the half hour, they do a huge recap <_<, but i found out who!

we last left off with 1 vote brian, two votes matt, two votes hutch. dr. pat's vote was the deciding vote. she voted the man who she slept with (but obviously, this is just acting)... the HUTCH! confetti and balloons rained down as the hutch celebrated his win of $100,000. broken plate in hand, he jumped around excited while matt applauded, but wondering how the heck this a-hole won 100 grand. but, there was a twist. Ralph recieved a shocking message saying that someone wasn't really who they said they were. he asked if anyone would volunteer to say who. after about 45 seconds of silence, hutch revealed he wasn't the hutch, but that he was an actor in L.A. named David Hornsbey. then he claimed he was not the only one at fault and that they should ask Kip. kip revealed he too was an actor. ralph asked everyone who was an actor to raise their hands, and everyone but matt did. matt was shocked and had no clue what was going on. matt ended up laughing and crying and really confused, but he definitely had a good experience. he left with a 7 day spa trip in Utah, a flat screen tv, some other stuff and $100,000!!!

sure hope they come out w/ a DVD set! i'd buy it for the hookers! :lol:

It was a good ending...i'm glad they did the recap, cuz i missed the first espisodes...it was funny when Matt totally ran over Dr. Pat! :lol:

And it was funny when Matt couldn't believe that kip wasn't gay! :lol:

i wonder if they'll do a sequel? then again, now half the world knows about the show, so they'd have to do what FOX did for Joe Millionaire 2. take advantage of the french! :lol:

yeah. :lol: I'm sure there gonna do a sequel but it will be hard to do, to find someone whos such a nice guy as Matt...but i think they could pull it off.

just hope they don't make like 6 joe schmos (*cough*Survivor*cough*). survivor was good when it started, but they overdid it way too much <_<

I sure hope that doesn't happen. <_<
