Title: Smart Aiming (AI)
Darkslaughter - August 14, 2003 08:51 AM (GMT)
I saw a topic like this once on the GM community but I cannot find it anymore and I'm curious how it works.
So heres it is:
How can I make an AI for a gun turret or a ship, for example, that will "aim" in a manner so that it tries to fire where your ship or another ship appears to be going, hence a "smart aim"?
Any and all help is appreciated

Burning Sheep Productions - August 29, 2003 07:33 AM (GMT)
What imaginary friend!?
Reg's just a character I use in stories.
I do have real friends.
Monkster - August 29, 2003 04:29 PM (GMT)
It's good to know that u have 'real' friends...u say he not an imaginary friend...for ur sake., i hope ur right!

Do people fit in lockers in your school??? Man thats gotta be awesome! Well, ok, not if it happens too often, but hey...
Those on our school are only as small as your backpack, and not an inch more.
And what's wrong with an imaginary friend? As long as there are real ones too, I think it's not harmful ;)
Monkster - August 31, 2003 05:31 PM (GMT)
yes then do...the lockers are 6 ft high and 1 ft wide. Its pretty cool especially for the grade 8's...hehe ;)
And imagianry friends can become harmful...if u go to my school. ;)

Where the hell does it say he's my imaginary friend!?
He's a character for any stories I have to do in English.
Way easier than inventing one everytime.
Monkster - September 7, 2003 02:56 AM (GMT)
its for school? Why didn't u say so???
Burning Sheep Productions - September 7, 2003 05:35 AM (GMT)
I thought it was obvious.
