I like a series best when it has an element of fantasy in it. Or science-fiction. I can do science fiction. Fruits Basket would have to be an exception. I'm just not interested in it.

It used to be there were lots of odd greetings around here; Neon Hyena used to throw pies for a greeting, and P-chan tossed hobo souls, and Hanyou-Kagome would hit people with her patented Frying Pans of Doom.
