It amy be an old manga/anime, but I love it! I'm currently reading the series and I only watched episode 16 and I'm already hooked on it. I'm not so sure if anyone here likes it and I don't know if it's a popular manga/anime. Anyways....My favorite character is Domyoji Tsukasa. The fact that he messes up his words is hilarious! I think he's bipolar or something...xD One minute he's hyperactive and the next minute he's going to kill someone. As I'm reading one of the books, I tend to read the little notes that the mangaka writes on the side. If I remember correctly, Yoko was drawing dreadlocks for Tsukasa and it ended up being slightly disturbing yet funny curls. So, any of you crazed manga/anime fans like Hana Yori Dango?

OMG!! I love this manga!! My favorite character is Rui! He has this creepy attitude towards things, such as Tsukushi when she comes to visit him by the emergency exit and shtuff....>.<

*chuckles* Yeah. There's one thing that I don't quite get: Why does Domyoji get so mad at Rui and Tsukushi? Was it because of the videotape he saw of Tsukushi saying "Don't hate me, please"?

Because of Cat's Eye. It's a manga by Hojo Tsukasa, who also did City Hunter. My friend, Siony, owns the whole thing in French, and even has some recordings of the anime as dubbed in France.

Cat's Eye is the story of three sisters who own a cafe by day (called the Cat's Eye) and moonlight as thieves. The main character, Hitomi is the middle sister, and mostly, she's Cat's Eye (the thief), but her sisters Ai and Rui also help.

So when I think Rui, the first thing that comes to mind is a sexy lady in her late 20's.

And was Hana Yori Dango turned into a chinese drama called Meteor Garden? Because when I started watching that with Siony the plot seemed awfully familiar.

Middle-class girl goes to super-rich school and incurs the wrath of the hottest and meanest boys in the school, so she's got a school-wide bullying problem, only one of the guys ends up falling for her and she later ends up falling for him?

Yes it totally is, Mishi! Yay chinese dorama!

I saw the first couple of episodes of Meteor Garden.. I'd love to show it at Anime Banzai one day, I think people would get a kick out of it.

I'm sorry. I have no idea. My friend Siony's the one who has it, and it was her uncle who lent it to her, and ours is the Thai dub. Don't ask. I don't know either.

I'm currently looking to see if I can find somewhere to get Meteor Garden.. I dunno though, it's a bit older. My friend had bought it, and I don't remember if she bought the dvds from china (she had a region free dvd player), or if she bought fansubs..

I found out something cool though. NEFFIE might like it.. Wikipedia: Mars... One of the greatest shoujo drama manga ever was also made into a Chinese Dorama! HEhe! With the same lead actress as Meteor Garden even. That's kinda funny...
