I got the first two Tutu DVDs for Christmas, which is very cool! I think my favorite part, though, was the English outtakes! OMG, they were hilarious! One example:

Mytho: Princess Tutu appeared. . .and touched me.
Fakir: The same place I touched you? B!tch!

:lol: There were a few like that; the guy doing Fakir was having a bit too much fun, methinks! I can't wait to see the outtakes on the second disc!

I watched some of this at school the other day, and was able to call the ending.
"They find her a nice little pond and the dude goes and feeds her bread crumbs everyday, what more could a duck want?"

Which dude? Fakir? Or the Prince?

I was hoping that Fakir would find a way to make her human again at the very end; like maybe a "true love's first kiss" kind of deal. Kiss de Duck!

I will simply say this. Fakir's name is simply a slight mispronounciation away from what I was yelling at him to do and get it over with throughout the few episodes I watched. 'Course, peole started looking at me funny when I kept saying this, even after she turned into the duck.

The only character in the show that earned any respect from me was the little girl with the drum. Why? 'Cuz she was the only honest person in the entire show. All she wanted to do was run around and play her drum. And she did it well, and looked adorable doing so. 'Course, I was always hoping she pull a Drum Line and play a massive drum solo, strike a pose, and through down her sticks.

A friend of mine suggested that instead of Ahiru becoming human, like she does in most ever single fanfic, Fakir should become a duck. It acheives the same result, and my friend and I agree that Fakir would make a very cute duck.

Yeah, that woulkd work too, although they'd have a much harder time dancing as ducks. And Fakir would make a cute duck, at that!

Kago - I'm not sure I follow you; how were the other characters dishonest? I do like Azura, but I don't see how Fakir, Ahiru/Duck, Mytho, or most of the others were dishonest. Rue, maybe, and what's-his-face who told Fakir he was related to Drosselmyer, and Drosselmyer himself, but the others? :unsure: I've seen the whole series, and while Fakir had issues at first, he got over them by the end of the first season.
