thank goodness for christmas money!
I went to Best Buy to get my friend something for her birthday
and of course I ended up wandering over to the anime section
and there, sitting all alone
was the DVD box set of Jing!!!
13 episodes, 3 DVDs, 1 extremely happy person (me)
I watched the 13 episodes with out blinking
it was definitely worth my $35 dollars
I really liked the Japanese voices
and I like Jing's english voice, not so much Kir's
I really like the English translations
because some of the dubbed stuff doesn't make much sense
the plotline follows the manga pretty well
there are obviously some changes and rearranges
the art is just like the manga, but a bit better
near the end of the series (epis 11-13)
the art gets a little weird
the music goes really well
there is some odd music too
I give it an A rating
I've seen a few episodes. I have a friend who really likes it. It's pretty nifty. Especially the thing at the very beginning that says 'I... I... I have nothing to do with this story', rides away, and is never heard from again.
It's pretty good. Involves a kid who is the kid of bandits and his pet talking crow, that can merge with his arm and create a big blast.
