Title: Did Bom Help You?
Description: I'm curious

Hey guys, I was just wondering about this. Has the BOM ever inspired any of you to check out a new series?

I notice people usually only post in the BOM guest book if they are already familiar with the anime or manga the bishounen is from. And so the more popular the show is, the more comments the bishounen gets.

Then, we also get requests for bishounen that are likewise very popular. Though that isn't the reason the BOM come to be. it was because we wanted to help expand everyone's horizon's and become more aware of lesser known bishounen.

So I was just wondering if we've done that for anyone. If you tried a new series we spotlighted and loved/hated that series. And if you got a new favorite bishounen because of it?

Yes! When Count D came up on the BOM, the series sounded very interesting and I went out in search of the first book. I'm up to number eight now. :D

The only other one I can think of is Kurapica. HunterxHunter is actually my favorite series now, next to FMA, and I DO love Kurapica very much.

Personally, I don't think you should use bish that everyone already knows. There are a few times that I've been delighted to see someone from a little-known series that I already love, such as Raito (who rocks!).

Well,BOM would totally help if my family wasn't practically dirt poor,or if my mom thought anime and manga was a waste of time...I could say the same thing of her romance novels... ;) I don't understand how she stand to read those...Ewww...
But the bishies(and short little summaries about the series the bishie come from)definatly peek my intrest and make me want to have money...Or at least more eager for christmas and my birthday to come up! :P

Yes. When you did that BOM on Gunter, it made me curious about Kyou Kara Maou. I'm obsessing over it at the moment.

It helped me! Though, like KFG24, I have little money to spend on new series, I'm making lists of things to check into when I do have money again. And it's because of your attention to FMA and S-Cry-ed that I decided to try them when they came on Adult Swim! Thanks!

Is KFG24 even here? I sent her a e-mail and she didn't even respond! I'm kinda worried. :( Is anyone else?

Huh?I'm here...It's just that not only has my computer time been restricted(I'm supposedly doing reseach on Irish potato famines right now),and we caught a virus... More like Heather and Alex dowloaded one...
And Fang if you sent me an email it most likely got deleted like a whole bunch of other stuff because of the damn virus...I'm glad to say though, that my computer is now virus free!
I think... <_<

Oh? Well, I hope your computer has been cleared of any viruses!! :) I'll send you another e-mail.
