Title: Yu-gi-oh Manga Ends!
Description: Ummm... Duh...

Yesterday I went to Chapters to splurge on books, manga and actual novels. (plus Nanny Ogg's Cookbook, but that's a different story entirely). One of my best friends works there. I failed at trying to sneak up on her. She works in the French section, and she drags me to the manga bookshelf, and tells me: "Look! It's the final volume of Yu-Gi-Oh!"
Kana is a French publisher that has been translating the Yu-Gi-Oh manga. I buy the Yu-Gi-Oh manga in French because it's cheap and because I laugh at the French slang. (what does 'Ouah! Ca craint un max!' mean? I'm completely bilingual and it stumps me. XD)
Anyways, this month Kana published the final, 38th volume of Yu-Gi-Oh.
I must collect them all! (I already have 28 of them, so it's no big deal. Only ten volumes left.)

Lucky.
We have to wait. I've held off on collecting the YGO manga, just because it's so long. But I AM getting the "Millenium World" series of it. I'm really enjoying it both on anime and manga. Can't wait to see how it ends!!! <-- Not an invitation for spoilers.

Don't worry. I don't have any... I can't wait to see how it ends myself. I mean, I could have bought the 38th right away, but I wouldn't have been able to trust myself not to read it. That's why I always tell my friends to get me volumes of manga that are right after the ones I already have, so I progress and don't get spoiled on stuff that happens in between.

My friend use to have all of the manga for Yu-gi-oh but, her mom was sick and tired of her reading and wanted her to do her home work once in a while. Knowing my friend, she disobeyed her mom. Don't worry!! ;) She gets all of them back on the 14th of March. Pretty long, huh? <_<

Wow. As punishment for something really bad that I once did, my mother confiscated all my books for a week. She had to take pity on me after the third day or something because it was just too harsh a punishment.

Taking away someone's manga is pretty harsh! She should've done as she was told; much less painful in the long run!
I'm also looking forward to see how YGO ends; although I've accidently gotten a few spoilers from a couple of AMVs I watched. Still, it'll be nice to see it in context with dialog!

It wasn't manga. At the time, I didn't even know manga existed. But I've always been an avid reader, and taking away my books... unforgiveable.

Same here, Mishi. I have at least 27 manga. I only have 5 of Yu-gi-oh, though. It kinda stinks when your parents give you $3 for washing the dishes. <_< But, I have A LOT of money in my bank. (about $700)

You probably shouldn't announce that for all to read. :ph43r:
27 manga? I recently made an inventory of all my manga volumes and came up with 164. I was lucky: 92 (give or take 10 or so) of 164 volumes were given to me by various people. I'm constantly begging my parents to put up another shelf in my room.
Beat that. XP

Oh; my mistake! Either way, that's a harsh punishment. I'm a heavy reader myself, and I think I'd wither up and die if all of my reading material was taken away!

If somebody stole my manga, I'll hunt them down till they die. I'm already dead so, it's easier for me.
