Yeah apparantly I lied.

Our convention is Saturday and I've been swamped with getting last min things done (same with the other fems)

There's a lot to running a convention... I"m glad this year it's just a one day con.

When I'm done making and printing all my flyers (3 flyers - I have one more to make... the others need to be printed), printing registration forms, coming up with a volunteer schedule for the viewing rooms since I can't run 2 rooms alone, preparing to give panels, making a new costume, getting items together for the charity auction, and printing art prints for the art show - I'll make the sure I get it the page built.

Sorry again... I was feeling overwhelmed and I made a list and I didn't realize how many last minute items I needed to get done before Friday. OH and I need to locate 2 cash boxes....

I'm crossing my fingers that everything will be done by Thursday (since I gave away half my shift for tomorrow to run around.) If I'm done on Thursday a new one will be up Friday night. If I'm not done - then it'll be Monday.

Sorry again! I didn't mean to lie I really thought I could get it up last weekend, but reality hit.

It's okay, Nie-chan. Running a con is hard work; we can wait a little longer for the new bish. But next near, perhaps you won't leave so many things to the last minute, ne?

It's not like we did it on purpose... all of us were up past midnight .... you think you're done and something else pops in and you're like "crap! I didn't do that!"

I finally thought we had everything covered... but we ended up with no club flyers... a big d'oh! It's jus those things you don't think of until right before... you get the big things taken care of.

But I'm proud to say with 3 hours of sleep I survived all day!

We expected 200 people but we were prepared for 300....*drum roll please* we got 611 people... needless to say we had to go make more copies of registration forms and program books...etc. But all in all.... it went off very smoothly... everyone stepped up and took care of 600 + people even though it was double of what we were prepared for.

And I slept all day SUnday - so I'm back to normal!

What does it say about my brain that my first reaction to the picture up front was that it could've been a stylized, dj pic of Seto Kaiba? :blink: The series sounds interesting, though! I must say, there are some criminals that it wouldn't break my heart to see drop dead.

good series good series. though a little wordy at times, and if its in a language you can only half read, it gets tiring after a while....but still a good series...yep.

Anyways,I read a small exert from the first volume in Stephanie's Shonen Jump magazine,and was disgusted by Rasito's new name...I mean come on!'Light'?What were they thinking?
But ummm...Yeah...Death Note is great...The art work isn't exactly the prettiest I ever seen though...But the lot definatly makes up for it...
And it also proves that boredom is not a good thing...
