This is a thread about games (duh!). I was told I could post about games here, so I am. And I thought I should start with the basics. What are you're favorite games? Go ahead, be descriptive.

Personally, I prefer the old school RPGs. Hell I collect 'em.
My current favs include Lunar 1&2, Grandia 1&2, Skies of Arcadia, the "Tales of" Series, Chrono Trigger, Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits (I desperately want the original AtL box set), Thousand Arms, and Suikoden 3 just too name a few.

How do I start...? Well, way back in the day I started out with those old Mario games... 'cuz they were awesome... even if the princess always WAS in another castle... heh. I moved on to Sonic the hedgehog games... (Knuckles is awesome! and tails... so cute ^.^) Then it was the mortal kombat games where I learned that violence is freakin' funny... >_> heh. For a while I kinda went into a VG lull and didn't play much... then for christmas our family got a psx and ff7... I'd never played the FF games before... but I was hooked! hehe. I finished the entire game before the christmas holiday was over and then ff8 was due out a few weeks later, so i got that one the day it came out... and about fell over at the difference in graphics... I started to branch out to other games like... Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time is still one of my all-time favorites... Chrono Cross... I still haven't played Trigger... I own it, but I just haven't gotten around to it. Though just about everyone says i HAVE to play it. I love the Devil May Cry series just for the awesome-ness of Dante... they're great fun. what else... Castlevania is cool, though i've still yet to finish one of the games completely... Kingdom hearts, despite all the criticism it got, I really liked. I thought the way they redesigned some of the characters was really cool(though cloud should have been a way tougher boss... and I still can't beat sephiroth...). I'm totally stoked for the new KH II to come out... as well as all the ff7 spinoffs... Advent Children, Last Order, Before Crisis, Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus (as many know, Vincent is my favorite... I think i'll have a fangirl attack and die of happiness when I get to play this one...) anyway... that's me... and the stuff I like... heh ^_^

Must spread the love for LUNAR. That was my very first venture into anime cutscenes, and I got FFVIII a few weeks later for my birthday. My favorite game of all time? *sweatdrop* Do I have to choose?

Well, if I DID have to choose, I'd have to say FFX, mainly because of Auron. Auron was the coolest character I've seen in the FF line. Don't get me wrong, I've played most of them, and well, most of you all squeal and drool on Sephiroth, but he just never really pushed my buttons. His character was always flat to me, like most of FFVII's characters. The only one that stood out from that game was Cid, and only because he rocked. Period.

I'm not trying to get off in a tangent here, just trying to explain my reasoning. ^^;

My first game was Shining Force for the Sega Genesis. Great RTS RPG. It'll hook you within minutes. :3

I'm currently addicted too Guild Wars (please see the Guild Wars thread).
Though it's not quite as addicting as Evercrac... err... Quest, it's still a pretty bad ass game.
Console wise: I'm hooked on Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3 (yes it's an import) for Game Cube. My favorite character is Shino and his Bitch Slap/Bug Rape no Jutsu combo. Love Da Bugs.
