Manga. OVA. Movie. And now... T.V Series!
It's out! It's out! It's finally out!
*Kago does his happy happy dance*
Arguably the most anticipated anime series EVER has finally been released!
Now some of you may not know what I'm babbling about, and if you're one those people, :angry: SHAME ON YOU! :angry:
But fear not, for I, Kago, the rabid AMG fan that I am, am here to educate you, you sad sad person you!

AMG! is the story of the LUCKIEST MAN TOO EVER WALK THE FACE OF THE EARTH! Keiichi Morisato was the most downtrodden person you could think of. Barely squeeking through college. His upperclassmen treat him like their personal servant. Girls, at best, ignore him. You know, he's basic loser material. His only gooud points are that he's a nice guy and can pretty much drive anything on wheels like a pro racer. One day, his dorm buddies leave him to house-sit (read as: do all their chores) while they go partying. But while trying to make a phone call (the exact purpose of which varies depending on which version you subscribe too), he somehow patches through to the "Goddess Help Hotline" (Yes, I know it sounds like one of those dirty phone sex places). The next thing he knows an honest too goodness goddess named Belldandy (she even has her own business cards) pops out of the mirror behind him (freaking the hell out of him in the process) and offers to grant him ANY WISH HE WANTS! Now, being the loser that he is, Keiichi figures that this is all just a prank set up by his dorm mates, so instead of wishing for wealth, fame, or power (like most people), he does what any lonely guy (okay, any guy PERIOD!) would do when confronted by a beautiful girl offering to make his dreams come true: he wishes for her to be his girlfriend forever! Needless to say, his wish comes true. And thus begins one of the greatest romantic comedies ever written.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have Belldandy worshipping to get back too.

Hmmm, Belldandy... I try to keep my fandom at bay most of the time, but Belldandy... I'm a Belldandy fanboy, and DARN PROUD OF IT.

<fanboy>
You ladies, you can keep your bishies, for I have my Goddess. Looks only go so far, but Belldandy is a -complete- package of divinity. If you want to have some idea of what 'good guys' look for, Belldandy is a prime example.

IMNSHO, of course, YMMV...

The new TV series is quite nice, with styling more like the movie (which is just plain beautiful). Glad to see it follow the story, much moreso than the last OVA (which was fine in it's own right... it just wasn't the main comic story though). Definitely one to pick up as it's released (with it being acquired and all)...
