Title: Howl's Moving Castle
Description: The latest of Miyazaki's movies...

Okay, I'm hoping most of you have heard of this. The movie is based off a book by Diana Wynne Jones, "Howl's Moving Castle". I've read it and it's pretty good, though I've heard the movie's quite different. Anyway, here's the book's plotline:
Sophie is an 18-year-old girl, doomed as the eldest of three sisters to have ill fortune and run the family's hat shop. Coincidentally, one day the Witch of the Waste comes to the store and, furious for not finding a hat, curses Sophie into the body of a 90-year-old women. Shortly after, Sophie sets out to seek her fortune and comes upon the castle of Wizard Howl who was heard to eat the souls of young girls. Inside, she makes a deal with a fire demon named Calcifer. If she can convice Howl to break the contract between him and Calcifer, he would remove the curse. And it continues on from there...
This is a website with pretty good trailers for it. Oh, and if someone knows the release date for Howl's Moving Castle in America, I would REALLY like to know.

I wouldn't be surprised if it gets released quickly like Spirited Away did. It's a HUGE hit over in Japan right now.
I want to see it!!! ;)
but yeah... I'll keep my eyes open for any info on a release date

YESSSSS! Someone replied! *does reply dance*
Ahem...right. Yes, it did say on the website that it would be released in even more countries than Spirited Away, and supposedly it's already in England, so we'll just have to wait...

I picked up that book years ago on a whim, but I never got around to reading it. I was surprised when I found out that Studio Ghibli made a movie on it. Is it common that people from other countries make films based on foreign books? I'm looking foreward to it, though. It's supposed to be good.

Still don't know when it's coming out here, and in my opinion, Howl kinda looks like Faust IV when his hair is dyed blonde...

Oooo, I read the book! It's coming as a Miyazaki movie??? That sounds great, I fell in love with spirited away...
But I guess it will take forever untill it comes here because I live in Sweden, at the end of the world. Sigh. I'll just have to re-read the book. Does anybody have a link or something to a picture of Howl? I'd lake to see what he will look like in the movie.

Um..I do belive I posted a web adress at the top where there's information and movie clips/trailers. But, if you just want good pictures, check out the Studio Ghibli website. They had good stuff there to.
Oh! And I just recently found the release date in America. June 10th for cities like LA and NY and 17th for everywhere else.
