well, i'm into romantic stuff, and perverted guys/girls stealing kisses from people (only in anime, of course..in real life it's creepy)
but i can't draw people kissing..T-T i drew it well once because i had a reference (volume 8 of inuyasha, i beleive, where kikyo kisses inuyasha..it's kyooot) but now, when i use a reference for this, it just looks weird..any tips?
i need it for my silly little comics i draw during class everyday because i'm always so bored(my teachers don't care 'cause i get straight A's...isn't kallie smart?!*proud*). they're mostly my shameful fantasies, but since it's getting to be around the holidays, i have the strong urge to draw one of my original character's and my friend's character under the mistletoe (which would be kyoot because mine's only four, and the other's five, and it'd be kyoot 'cause they're so clueless about love..yet so smart for their ages..)
okay i'm rambling now..just any help with drawing kisses? just simple kisses.. don't need to know how to draw people making out..yet ^^'
and hugging if anyone can..
When using reference, don't use artwork, like anime or cartoons, because you're getting someone else's interpretatin of what kiss looks like. The best references to use are photographs or models, that way you're getting it from real life. I have to admit, I'm a bit guilty of useing other people's style for reference, but now I'm starting to use real life reference and its my artwork is improving.
