It is!? congrats! This was my second time going ^.^
Thespian is awsome. You're among people that like most of the things you do, and you can make a complete fool of yourself there and no one will care...'cause they're all doing the same thing!!
The workshops are usually a lot of fun and are really informative. (I went to a couple about Voice acting 'cause that's what I want to do when I get out of highschool) I don't know what workshops they'll have there, it all depends on who decides to come down and talk.
I can't really say much for the Main Stages, 'cause they're different every year and in every state. Some times they're good, some times they're horrible, and some times they're not too bad.
Like the ones we had: two out of three were great! The first one was "Beauty and the Beast" they did that really well, and the girl who did Belle sounded just like the girl on the movie! and the same with Lefu(however you spell that: the little dude the follows around Gueston) he was good. The only actor in that one that didn't do too good of a job was the guy who played Belle's father.
The next one was about Anne Frank and the Holocaust(sp?). I thought that one was really good, but the rest of my troup didn't seem to think so...I cried at the end.
And then the next was "Little Shop of Horrors"!! it was awsome! I think that Audry 2(the plant) was the best actor out there. The guy who did his voice sounded like the guy on the movie...and I think the same went for Seamore and Audry...but it's been a while since I've seen it.
And then, there's the dance. The dance is really cool. you don't have to be a good dancer to have a good time, and no one cares if you're a good dancer or not!
The dance at the conference in Arizona: there was a congo line going almost constantly. And at times, it would get so long that it would run into itself and have to stop! Just like the snake in that game, that some cell phones have, when it gets too long and it eventually runs into itself and you lose the game...yeah, like that. It was really funny: one time, the line just suddenly stopped, and I slammed into the person infront of me and the person behind he slammed into me and so on untill there was this huge back-up like you see with cars in cartoons! it was great.
Oh, and don't be suprized: you may just find yourself hugging people you've never met before and don't even know their names! Though, you will meet some really cool people there and maybe even meet some new friends ^.^ I did, this time. He is interested in doing Voice Overs just like I am and he started to do the voice of Brad in
my comic "Xm" (he's the guy the comic starts out with) because he could relate to him, and he did a really good job too! So we switched numbers and I gave him my site and such, it was cool.
:: gasps after talking so much and looks back up at her post :: O.o' holy crap.....yeah....that's Thespian n.n' :: falls over from lack of air ::
