OMG I love Saiyuki. In fact, I brought Hakkai with me to the '04 Halloween Party. The series is fun, with tons of twists and turns. Just when you think you know who someone is, a twist comes along and changes that. So much fun!

Glad to know I'm not the only rabid Hakkai fangirl here. ^_^ Of course, I'm also a rabid Goku fangirl. He reminds me so much of, well... me!

yes Saiyuki is a fun series.

Bewarned.... don't get pan pan and tychou talking about it... wait that moment has passed they don't do it anymore... now it's pan pan and I doing "Full Metal Alchemist blah blah blah.." heh..

Anyway, you know I like the series in either language. I first saw some of it in Japanese, and then I finished it with the dub. It's a dang good dub. Dude, it's funny.

it makes me feel good that i'm not the only rabid Hakkai fan as well. i was going to bring Kougaiji to the Halloween Party, but my friend would have killed me if she found out....i own the manga...i perfer not to watch things, as i tend to find the manga version better...

blah blah Saiyuki blah blah! :lol: heh heh, yes, i love this show... Gojyo is my sexy man whore... or so i like to think. Kougaiji (aka "K-Dawg) is awesome too. I do like the manga best. I think the story is WAY better and not so full of filler. With the anime, the whole 2nd half is filler and they had to end the 2nd season, "Saiyuki: Reload" with the "Kami-sama" arc instead of the regular story arc like the manga does... then saiyuki: reload the manga is totally different and they're now animating that, but calling Saiyuki: Reload Gunlock... whatever... i'll still watch it... :D i like the omake things at the end of the reload eps though. SO funny.

i've never watched the series....and i only have volumes 1-3 of the manga....but i still think it's neat. Gojyo is ok, but he's a bit to pervy for me....

When I first saw it forEVER ago, I really took a liking to Goku. So, I guess he's still my fav. When I had the opportunity to buy the figures I grabbed Goku (not like THAT!) and the others I figured, "eh I'll get them later." I had to have my Goku!

And at A-kon, tychou even bought me a Goku keychain since I said how cute he was! :D so yeah, he's my fav!

YES!!!!!!! I LOVE Hakkai. :lol: But no ones metioned Sanzo... ;) Oh, well. I think that they have a lot of good characters. I like all of them!!!!!! (I still like Hakkai the most)

*I* love Sanzo. David Matranga made him hot. He's still an arse hole though. I get called 'Sanzo' sometimes by this girl at my work because I'm so cranky there. >.<

Yes, Saiyuki is a good series, but the manga is WAY better.

The movie also just came out. It has comentary by the four main voice actors. It's kind of fun to hear them speak like they normally do.

i agree with tychou i like Sanzo..but it's a tie between him and hakki. :sigh: what a girl to do other that make a mini harem. what i don't like is in reloaded they change the VOice actors! agggh...i hate it when they do that. it bugs me. they make sanzo sound like a wuss
