Nothing about Hellsing? Wow. That's a great show in my opinion. And reeeaaaallly gory, it is so cool! But I only have the first two manga and DVDs, it rocks!!! Not to mention having a main character like Alucard. Aluuuuucaaaaard...... I'll stop now. But in my opinion, this one deserves some recognition!!

Oh yeah I've watched Hellsing!! In fact it took tychou and I forever to watch the last disc. But we eventually found it at Hollywood Video and we rented it!

There is this dude in the show for like 5 minutes toward the end and I just loved him! We watched it dubbed - Hellsing has an EXCELLENT dub - and his team is getting killed off and he turns around to see the last person of his team get killed, what does he do? He says, "Oh blast." (the English way.. their in England so yes they talk proper) and continues fighting. and Then when Alucard finally shows up he tells him, "I abhore tardiness." He was great!!!

This is one cool show I wouldn't mind owning.

cha! Hellsing was really cool. I quite enjoyed it. I laughed SO much. (For some reason gore makes me laugh)... one of my favorite parts was when alucard was fighting one of the vampire brothers and wants a "real" fight. The guy starts freaking out and alucard is like, come on, hurry! fight me! the funny thing though is he'd say "hurry" in english... heh. I also thought Integra was freaking awesome. She's just... cool. Alucard though, man is he a psycho... *glomps* an awesome psycho and sometimes even cute, but psycho nonetheless... My brother watched it with me and he doesn't really even like anime, but he thought it was freaking cool. yay Hellsing!

yeah hellsing is a really good series, you get the dark gore but it's good dark gore not cheese to the max. I like it cause everyone has funky fighting styles... and i've ALWAYS liked anything to do with vampires. Vampire Hunter D, is good too. See it if you haven't already!!

Okay, my parents and grandparents gave me cash for Christmas so of course I went out and bought anime. I bought the first volume of Hellsing Ultimate, which is the OVA. (I also bought some more Card Captor Sakura; I'm a mite eclectic in my tastes.) They were supposed to have in the second volume as well, at least so I understood from the ad in the paper, but they didn't. FYE, you pack of liars!

Hellsing Ultimate starts off by showing young Integra's first meeting with Alucard in the dungeon of the Hellsing mansion. From there, it goes pretty much like the series Hellsing, but they cover several of the lesser vampires in faster time because they're gonna be covering more of the manga plot this time so there's no time to waste. The animation style seems more technical this time, but all the characters look pretty much the same except for their eyes I think. And Alucard is still as creepily bishie as ever, thank you. (Oh yeah, and they brought back the original dub cast too. Whee, more Crispin Freeman for my listening pleasure!)

The storyline on the first disc is the same as about the first half of the series, so it's good. They introduce Father Anderson a little sooner; we first see him telling two little kids not to fight because according to him, violence is bad unless it's against heathens and monsters. Oh, and Anderson's attacks are cooler. So is the first fight between him and Alucard. Also in this disc, Integra calls Alucard the "king of vampires. Or is it Count?" So that clears his origins up for anyone who was still confused (and not quick enough to read his name backwards and figure it out.) Bottom line, the guy still freaking rocks and I'm interested to see more of this OVA.

Tch, anyone who still hasn't figured out how to read Alucard's name backwards doesn't DESERVE to know Alucard's origins.
